The idea of control the polish forces during the first month of the WW II is good, because the player must rely more on encirclement and mobility than air force and tanks. Sadly the companions in the campaign are really irritating because their missions lenghen the campaign with no significat reward, except once after the first missions: three companions are useful as super units, but two are really a nuisance. Some general's starting trait have no effect in the game, for the limited time frame of the campaign, therefore if you pick the good ones they become almost a legalized cheat.
The idea of realizing a dlc dedicated to the fictional German invasion of USA seems good, but in reality is really boring. The AI spams swarms of air units often with 15 strength, while the ground units are all ovestrenghted. The new units are really few and the optional objectives often reward with a limited stock units or a nuclear V2, while the Japanese ally is a wasted opportunity. The USA maps in the original campaign was better and more enjoyable, while this dlc should is too long and boring.
Currently the game cannot start; every time i launch the game, i received the message “Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlinead” and the game crashes. I update the video card drivers, i rebooted the pc, currently i’m verifying the game cache and downloading 42 gigabytes, but is very disappointed that a game is released in such state. Bad work, i absolutely regret of wasted 60 bucks for a game in such state. Update: After several patches, the game is truly enjoyable, thanks to an impressive setting and a varied and fun combat system. What didn't convince me was that the vehicles are quite useless, despite their abundance and variety; you could basically finish the game with Donald Duck's car you have at the start without any problems. The story is beautiful and engaging, although there are too many cutscenes where you just talk without doing much (though fortunately, there's a skip button). What I didn't like was how the game handles netrunning. Unlike the original or titles like Shadowrun or System Shock, the net is not a world unto itself, but one of the game's many menus to interact with (basically, the netrunner is a typical wizard in fantasy games). I recommend it, but certain aspects of the game might not appeal to everyone.
