I am really glad I bought this at huge discount for just 2 Euros. Boring gameplay which didn´t know if it wants to be a shooter, strategy or stealth game. But all feel broken or just unfinished. Story is B like, but better than the gameplay. When you are playing FE:S you ask your self a lot if the developers wanted you to enjoy the game or just make you angry playing it at every turn. Only good thing about the game is the cellshading graphics, which give the game distinct style and feel. Definitely don´t buy for full price and consider just watching the story on youtube to spare yourself the suffering gameplay.
Game in its core is good. Investigating murders of Jack the Ripper are good and enjoyable. Unfortunately you will spend maybe even more time doing tedious favors for people to help you in your investigation that are unrelated to the case. There are so many of them and are so boring that I didn´t even finish the game because of them.
Calling this game a simulation is a bit misleading, since it is turnbased strategy with some real like tactics. Good game if you want something else after playing Doorkickers (which is way better). Simple to control but it is very annoying when it comes to buying gear and weapons.
Must have for cops or wannabes. :-)
