A fun western with a decent story and some fun side missions. There are plenty of varied missions to do. It has great action in it which will happen both off and on the horse. I will let you know that on hard difficulty already you can't take many hits at all before you die. 2-3 and you are gone. Just a heads up if you wonder how difficult it is and you still have insane if you feel like more punishment is needed. Had a great time with the open world and while you do missions here and there remember to explore a little to mine the gold(buy a pickaxe!) to get extra money. You can upgrade your weapons to do more damage and more. Who doesn't want to be the law in a town and dealing with the criminal scum the only way they know. Some side missions are pure cowboy work. Hearding cattle and so on. Had great fun with the game.
I had no idea what to expect of the game. It was suggested to me and must say it was a wonderful experience. You do have a choice if you want to be stealthy or not. Hide bodies or just leave them be. Kill or not to kill. Every choice has it consequences thou. There are many ways to deal with enemies and also to trick them. One thing that I didn't like is the forced "assaults" you have to do towards the end as they felt pointless at that point. There are parts of a very few buildings you can't see behind which is annoying as there can be enemies standing there but you can't see that if they are not patrolling. Something I really liked is the behaviour of the soldier enemies react if somebody is missing. Same thing with how some people will snitch on you by running to an enemy soldier or leader and tell on you. Close combat is fun as you actually use the mouse to control the swing of your characters. Enjoyed the game a lot and can easily recommend it.
Well this one felt like a downgrade from the first one. Story was ok but not as good as first one. Combat is still very simple. The world is not as good as in the first one. Even if it wasn't as good as the first one and has its issues I still had an ok time playing through it and its DLCs.
I enjoyed the story and the world in the game. The combat is another story. It is very simple and easy. Had a great time with the game as the story and the world is great. I liked the way to upgrade your gear in the game. Graphics and sound/music works fine. Can easily recommend it.
A fun old style fps using melee and magical weapons. Enjoyed the level design. Combat was a bit to get used to with how far melee weapon reaches as I had played DUSK just before this. Certain weapons works better in some situations. Boss fights were fun. The enemies are different for each "zone" which made it different when having to deal with them.
I enjoyed the music and the art style the game uses. The combat style is different and I enjoyed it. The story or what is going on is something you will not get until towards the end. So then comes the parts that ruins what could been a good/great game. The currency you get is kinda pointless for what you can buy with it. How you loose the currency getting damaged by anything. Sometimes you can recover it but sometimes you have no idea where the "body" is to recover is located. They despawn really quick if you got hit so recovering them is sometimes really hard. Well then don't get hit you say. well good luck when sometimes you have no idea what is coming up. Switching "powers" is slow at times and doesn't switch even thou you marked it. Sometimes you do want to switch quickly. Some powers you barely ever use and feel kinda pointless. I succeded in softlocking myself from progressing as I used a key on a door I shouldn't so couldn't progress after the 2nd boss. The game has potential but has many things to fix.
Well this was a fun and sometimes challenging game. You really need to learn enemies attack pattern to deal with them the best way. On Hard AF difficulty I found parry to be your best way to deal with things. Using body parts as projectiles are very efficient on unsuspecting enemies close to edges or high places. There are many different type of weapons and I find only some to be really usefull on Hard AF difficulty. As others have mentioned it does have some similarities to Dark Messiah if you have played that. Kicking enemies to see them fall to their deaths. Visually it has the old style vibe and it was great. Sound and music is great. Wish there had been more music playing in the background. What took me a while to get used to was the reach of the weapons from both yourself and enemies at times thanks to the camera angle. Had a blast with the game overall.
Well this game went quick to get through. Felt a lot easier and was shorted then previous games in the series. The 3D movement is nice but it is so hard to knowing the where your character is in the depth so it is easy to miss things as you don't know if you are far in enough or to close up. Makes combat a bit more difficult to be precise. Game is beatiful. You got your 3 usual suspects, the wizard, the thief and the knight. No skillpoints and you have more abilities from the start and some are removed. Felt a bit lacklusting thanks to this. Still have some new fun things in the game.
Was suprised how good it looks. The game is graphically great. The puzzles and platforming are at a good level for a relaxing and fun time. You can adjust the difficulty as you fit even during gameplay if you find it to be either to hard or to easy. You can either play it solo or play with somebody else. There are 3 different characters/classes and they have all their own strenghts. Can easily recommend it if you want a beautiful and fun little platformer with puzzles.
Mars: War Logs is a game with small areas (reminded me of Deus Ex: Invisible War) where you do some parts then having to go to another area to do the quests. It can become tideous sometimes as you may have to run back and forth between some areas a lot and enemies respawning. Thou the environment, characters and the story is what I enjoyed. Can be some really bad puns and such but that what made me like it. You can have an attitude or be nice. Combat is a bit wonky but works fine when you get the hang of it. Will thou warn you if you play on the hardest difficulty(extreme) be ready to kite a lot and do hit and run tactics. Ranged enemies will be the nemesis. Overall thou I did enjoy it but yes the combat can be wonky and the running back and forth can be tedious, especially when you may have to fight the same respawned enemies several times.
