Clive Barker's Undying

Welcome to the house of MAdness! #&?

I used to reffer to this game as Clive Baker's Undying for some reason. Anyway it was a big suprise when I got this game - positively. You want to buy it? Buy it do not hesitate if you and oldschool medieval style fan.

Divine Divinity

Divine Insanity!

I dont know how they made it but for my opinion this game is perfect. The gothic atmosphere embraces the whole design, music score everything. Story telling every now and then unpredictable, and there's a point in the game where you not going to believe what was happened. I could recommend anyone who might want to try out an out-of-the-way old school rpg -action game.

STAR WARS™: Knights of the Old Republic

Being a Jedi never was so Amazing!

Probably the best Star Wars game ever made, but to me much more than that. Playing an rpg SW game with a Jedi apprentice making very cool decisions far above all. Basically the charisma attribute the best because your converstions not just highly affected by it, but means completely changes the events, and greatly helpful for a non-soldier character. Jeremy Soule ideas help you deepen into this wonderful world(s). By the way story excellent, but near the end it was obvious that .....

Simon the Sorcerer

NomiS pU eKaW!

Adventuresoft has made a great adventure, and it's considered one of the best classic adventure. Like everything in life there are some tiny little bugs in the game. Voice is cool, but dialogues a bit over my head, and sometimes long and boring. Simon's remarks foremost. Now comes the good part, because this game contains the witch house, a full sized red dragon, Indiana Jones, greedy dwarves, demons, mummy, a troll, and wizards of course. Gameplay and settings are very similar in many aspects to the first Kings Quest. And the story too at least its absence. Imo the greatest work is the art - graphic design and a few song. Simon the Sorcerer being a classic adventure offers a challenge, and unfortunately, pixel hunting. The game lenght plentiful, but close to the end I've found it a bit easy.

Quest for Infamy

I wanna be a scoundrel!

I wrote a review yesterday, but lost it so make it short. All I wanna say this game earned its place among the classic titles of adventure games. Playing as a scoundrel is always fun. But Roehm has his own code and righteous allmost all the time :). Narrator is amazing really liked it, even if he calls me moron stupid f**k. Beautiful places - and girls - really good story with happy ending.

Monkey Island™ 2 Special Edition: LeChuck’s Revenge™

Guybrush, I am your brother! ??? Noooo!

Though, I love the first game atmosphere a bit better, this one streched out further than the first one. Everything seems to be the same as its predecessor which of course a good thing. Relief that the gameplay changed and from now on you can use only a mouse cursor for any interaction. I am not gonna talk about story 'cause I think it's not intended to take seriously (just think of its end). But really every bit of it a flick, a satiric way to our daily social life. Musical score is fantastic I can even always recall the main theme in my ear. Graphic is absolutly perfect there no empty feeling, fine animations etc... However the dialogue part outrangeous - and I prefer less usually - in this game is fine - but keep in mind that many times these conversation trigger something. And that point you realize: this game without any help is a hard one. In Special Edition there are many extras, soundtrack, developer commentary, artworks, videos... I think it's worth the price!

Memoria

Memoria: Tale of a staff and a Princess

One year passed since Nuri transformed into a raven. Things back to normal in Andraste, Geron again a simple "bird catcher" the streets smells of pigs urine and dung. Though this time Geron's motivation deeply touching. He is up to meet outside of town a "merchant" called Fahi who can help Nuri transform back. IMO this is a strong boundary between player and character. Fahi recounting a tale of Princess Sadja, and ask Geron's help to find out the end of it. Very interesting that two story is completely different - the heroes their motivations, even in time, still their story intertwining at the end. Memoria is an epic tale, about two ordinary people wants to change their fate. Sadja whole story bring some twist in the whole story that for sure. Even the Halef was lively in his strange boundary. So characters rather diverse in the game, but absolutly not bad as you can read in many review. Again artwork is fascinating, I were mesmerised by the faraway places, floating fortress of Drakonia... It really rare nowadays that finished a game and long after thinkin about it. It left deep expression on me thats for sure. ***** Recommended *****

The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav

Nuri my Love

First: characters cool in principal, the only thing they could elaborated on the two main character a bit more. Somehow in the first half hour I felt bored. Once you get audience with the King you'll pick up the thread it leads you through the land of fairies, orc camp, mountain passages, town of smugglers, etc... At that point, all of a sudden the story became interesting, though Nuri's background's left a unexplained. Story is flowing nice and even, and the puzzles aren't to hard to struggle with. I very missed that cutscenes and videos are very minimal and short. Not to mention the last one. Wonderful artwork is amazing though animations kept at minimal . The adventure's lenght plentiful but you probably gonna feel it has not ended. Nevertheless, this is a prominent adventure, this fantasy world is very elaborated, but unfortunately not the main characters. I recommend anyone who believes in good, likes medieval - fantasy world, ... ... and likes happy ending (part 2).

Lilly Looking Through

Halfling but worth a try!

This childish adventure bring us the peaceful memories of childhood, though it's end so sudden you gonna search for continue button. To me the game very similar to Machinarium - considering its lenght, unfortunately. THe game itself very plain, it's graphic stick to simple animation, static background most of the time, thou' fits in perfectly. Story: I tend not to care for because 1. not really touched me, 2. without understanding its a beautiful piece. First and last, this game a beautiful work, but for 8 € it's a very short adventure.

The Secret of Monkey Island™: Special Edition

Where's my GROG?!

I never wanted to be a pirate as a kid! I don't like pirate movies (except Pirates of the Caribbean), games etc., but when I stumbled upon Monkey Island I fought: let's give it a go! I'm not sure whether Curse of Monkey Island or this episode I played first. In my opinion the first episode along with third the best Monkey Island adventures. Back to Secret of Monkey Island: Melée Island with Scumm Bar is gorgeous! Guybrush keeps his silly optimizm even at the worst situations. Not to forget about LeChuck... the baaad guy. To me he's like Kevin McCallister left unattended from his parents, with some of his evil plan. I am sure you'll never forget Stan's merchandise, Meathook vicious Beast, the shopkeeper on Melée, or the verbal fighting! Voice acting is up to most animated films. Dominic Armato get a hang of his character completely and others as well. Soundtrack say memorable fit into the game. Has anyone found out what the secret of Monkey Island?
