Tyranny - Portrait Pack

$5 for Cool Portraits Bundle? Sure!

For some reason, everyone here is pissed off that they would have to pay for some images when you can just upload your own into the game if you know how. But here's the truth: $5 for a lot of really cool-looking and completely optional portraits isn't a ripoff. And if you think it is, wait for a sale that brings it down to $2, which are very common. For one, I'm surprised that everyone's getting so up in arms about some $5 DLC that isn't even necessary to enchance gameplay, it's just aesthetic. For two, people online commission art just like any ONE of these many awesome pictures for $5-$10 EACH! What are you all complaining about so much? That's what I think. If you think you have a cooler picture to upload, by all means do so. But don't hate on a perfectly fair product just because you don't need it.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series

An Incredible Telltale Journey!

First off, I'd like to point out that this is a Telltale game, which means it's more like an interactive movie, not an Action & Adventure RPG, I don't understand why people come to Telltale games and criticize them on that basis. But I've got to say, this game has been an incredible journey! Through the galaxy from planet-to-planet, it never ceased to amaze and entertain. Whether you've watched the movie(s), read the comics, or neither of those, this is a great game for anyone! The characters and voices were spot-on, and the graphics were splendid! Another special treat with Telltale games is their near-guaranteed replay value. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Telltale series is a story about family. One thing I noticed is that, when it comes to the characters, everything else takes the backseat. While traveling through space, hunting down ancient super-weapons, or battling terrifying enemies, Telltale always finds the time to embrace the family aspect of the classic Marvel make. And the guardians are a family like no other! It's a terrific and emotional quest, and not everyone can be pleased, but in the end, you do what you feel is right- or not, if that's what you're going for, the freedom of movement- in choice, I mean- is fantastic, and the story immersive. A must-play game for Marvel fans. And something worth everyone's time to check out!

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two

Undeniably My Favorite Game of All Time

First off, I'd like to point out that this game is getting a lot of terrible reviews due to increased system requirements, episode releases being late exclusively on GOG, and from people who are hating on Telltale for making a Season Two for Minecraft: Story Mode rather than The Last Frontier, The Wolf Among Us, or Game of Thrones. Don't be fooled by those reviews, they have absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the game. Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two is undeniably my favorite game of all time! Let's first talk about how the first season transitions into this. You do not have to have played Season One for this to make sense and be fun, but I will tell you that it is ten times better if you do. The games graphics quality is just splendid! A terrific step up from the first series and with far better lip-sync. As is the voice acting, which sounds smooth and flawlessly fits in with the characters in-game. Moving onto this game's specific features, it is everything I could ask for in a story game! The world is incredibly designed and super immersive, and the characters- man, where do I start!- they're just perfect! You feel so much of everything do they and for everything they say. Telltale hits all the right notes and at times this game has left me completely breathless with anticipation of many different types. The game introduces new mechanics, like bringing in some retro Minecraft-style building just to remind you of its origins, as well as new characters and much, much tougher decisions that leave many people stumped. It's a true Telltale classic and I hope that they keep up the quality they've displayed here with all their future games!

Minecraft Story Mode - Adventure Pass

Greatly exceeded my expectations!

Just to start, I want to point out that this game has been getting almost nothing but bad reviews, and I must say I am utterly taken off-guard by this. I starting playing Mojang's Minecraft about early-2012, shortly after its release in late-2011, and the game was pretty fun, good retro graphics, smooth sandbox gameplay, but it got old about a year later, it felt repetitive for a sandbox game. When Minecraft Story Mode was announced I really didn't think much of it, I hadn't played any Telltale Games yet, though I had heard and read amazing things about their games, but by 2015 I had completely stopped playing Minecraft. But my brother watched a walkthrough of the game and encouraged me to try it. I could not even believe how much fun I had! I can honestly say that the game fully exceeded my expectations, I think that was one of the best times of my life! Sure some people may say the humor is childish, or the smoother version of Minecraft graphics make for a less intense game, but that's just narrow minded, that's like saying that TV is lame because of the dialogue, or old games are bad because their graphics are not this modern day and age's highest possibilities. I LOVE the options given to you in this game, every bit of dialogue, every decision made, every friend made or lost, it all comes down to you, I found it thrilling and super immersive and when it finally ended, I was exhausted yet exhilarated, I replayed the whole game three times just to make different decisions and see how they effected the story! Sure maybe it's a game better left to kids 7-14 is some people's opinions, but I think this game could be a blast for anyone from 7-20, it just depends are your mindset, I came into the game with no idea what to expect and had the time of my life! If you go into the game expecting it to be super awesome or a terrible let-down, you can guess what will happen.

SPORE™ Collection

A never-ending box of fun!

I first bought and played Spore just after the release of Spore Galactic Adventures back in mid-2009, and it was a blast! You start in the water as a cell that must eat other cells to grow and evolve until you are more like a fish and big enough to grown legs and move out of the water onto solid ground. Once on the ground you go through arguable the funnest part of the game, you could either take half an hour or days continuing to unlock new evolution body parts and roaming the world in 3D RPG style, either befriending or defeating other creatures nests to grow stronger. Once your creature is done physically evolving you move onto tribal stage, where you and several other races have adapted to making huts and fires for warmth and gathering fruits or fishing for food, once again you can either befriend or destroy the other tribes to advance accordingly. Then comes the era of modern civilization, where you become adaptive and smart enough to create tanks, ships, and planes, and design an entire city of your own! One constant in Spore is it always allows you to choose your own path and make your own decisions on how to survive and advance, from whether your and herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore, to whether you are a religious or military nation. And finally comes the stage of inter-galactic travel, you get to design your own spaceship traverse thousands of star systems to meet hundreds of other advanced alien species, trade, ally, and conquer to expand you galactic empire! There are also special enemies and cool secrets to discover. The Spore Galactic Adventures expansion pack makes the game even more fun! During space stage you get to control your captain and beam down on planets to play player-created missions, or make and share missions of your own, the possibilities are limitless! I also bought the Creepy & Cute expansion pack as soon as it came out and it makes the creature evolution even more fun! I would definitely recommend this title to anyone!
