SNK VS. CAPCOM: SVC CHAOS

I adore these games.

I never really thought of it as a competition between these two companies, as SNK always followed Street Fighter and added a new opinion. Then Capcom would incorporate said opinion down the road. I like this version escept for the difficulty spike at the end. Talk about a Gundam esque BlazBlue battle there.

SILENT HILL 2

Excellent remake.

Brought back memories of the only Silent Hill I could stand playing until the end. I finished the original on XBOX, and then bought this remake on GOG. A very well done remake worth every penny.

R-Type Final 2

Mixed bag these R-Type Final games.

Love the challenge, and the homage, but at the end of the day, that's all it is; homage. GOG outta get 'R-Type Dimensions', released in their store. Seriously, I hate spending money on this crap at the end of the day just to get some R-Type across the screen.

RoboCop: Rogue City

Love popping the corny guys heads off!

This feels like the first Robocop movie and I love it. The first Paul Verhoeven is the only movie worth watching, except for Robocop 2's sinister sense of humour. Playing this will give you the authentic Robocop experience.

Raiden V: Director’s Cut

The voice over is annoying but welcome.

The evolution of this game is fun. My favorite original versions (besides the first arcade game), were Raiden on the Atari Jaguar, Raiden DX on the PSX, and Raiden Fighters Jet in the arcades. The gameplay in this one is a little static (but aren't they all), and the dialogue is...well...dumb.

The Oregon Trail

Been playing the original a long time.

My first trip down the Oregon Trail was on the Apple IIe. Many, many, trips later on the Apple IIe left me believing it's the only way to play this game. Therefore, this rendition feels like a wierd mobile game, but it is kind of fun, I guess.

Konami Collector's Series: Castlevania & Contra

Kind of bare bones.

I owned all these cartridges for my Nintendo growing up and even rented them when they first came out. Great games in a bare minimum presentation.

Индиана Джонс и великий круг

HOLY MOLY!

I couldn't stop playing this video game even when I was running my own little demo to check the install out. This game must be bought and given the sequelitis treatment like yesterday.

Dragon's Lair Trilogy

Only quick time games worth anything.

Loved Bluth animation growing up (Secret of Nimh). And these games pay homage to Atari all the way through. Like, WTF, their the G.O.A.T. of quick time, and I spent many dollars on them in the arcade growing up.

DOOM (2016)

Well, it isn't a fully completely...

This game was great. After the series went on such a long hiatus it felt like a breath of hot, burning, rotting air, and I like how this version feels and plays. I don't even care about the missing multiplayer extras, which should be expected from a DRM free game.
