I love the idea of this, it is like left for dead with anime girls but you also have base upgrading. This and sengoku rance have been the most impressive erotic games I have ever played that are truly fun for the game play elements with the right amount of sex appeal. My only minor complaint would be that I would have loved to have one or two more options for girls or even a DLC pack but that is minor and does not affect my review as it leaves plenty of room for another iteration in the series later on. If you are on the fence about it I would encourage you to take the leap!
You will lose the first few times, I know I did. I played this at a friends house and while attempting to add it to my wishlist accidentally purchased it. I will ask for a refund and wait for a sale but imo the game could be worth the full price I'm just not very wealthy :) A few things, a lot of people complain about the campaign but survival mode is the heart and soul of the game, play that first and get the basics down before you try the campaign. I think the map is generated each time and sometimes you will make bad choices thinking that they are good choices. I spent a lot of resources and time setting up a defense wall with towers and then after scouting farther into the fog of war I found out..... It was a dead end! No zombies could come that way. But I left those walls and stuff up because I had learned from my previous defeat how fast infection spreads and its good to have breaks like a submarine or when a building tries to stop a fire. BIG TIP -The only building you 100% have to protect is your main base of operations. Make sure you have a reserve squad or some towers in case SHTF as long as main base lives you can always come back and repair the rest. Have fun, good luck and sorry if you die! (I will.... again and again and again)
Not sure why that other guy says its for children, yes it is cute and rather simple to pick up but it does get rather complex later game with the science lab and other tools. Kind of like stardew valley it kind be as chill or as frantic as you like. I have a bunch of hours (idk how many exactly) on xbox and decided to pick this up on sale for PC as the sequel is in EA. GoG does miss out on the free cosmetic DLC packs which is a shame but the trade off is that I actually own the game buying from here instead of steam so I'll take that deal. A few notes for people that might stress like me. 1. If you shoot a slime into the ocean they don't die they join the mother slime and eventually pop back out of the ground somewhere else ( I did not like the idea that I was murdering my pets if I couldn't take care of them) 2. When they are starving they look in really bad shape but they won't expire from this and if you have to let them stay hungry for a bit while you get other things sorted in your base thats ok 3. Try different mixtures of slimes and try for a good amount of variety if you want to maximise money but there is no time limit so if you love rad slimes you can have everyone be part rad.. or cat... or bee or whatever you like seeing around your home :)
I bought this the day it came out on EA from the taleworld website (it wasn't on GOG at that time) and it is fantastic! It is not 100% done yet but I've put in over 600 hours in the last year+. I'm going to buy a copy for my sister once its done since she doesn't have as much time to play games and I want her to get the completed experience. But if you have played warband and liked it you will LOVE this game
