Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition

Bad, really bad. Try out SW2 instead!

I was surprised of how fun and cool Shadow Warrior 2 was. I rated it five stars whitout a doubt. The story wasn't exactly good, but I just found the game itself very funny, it's full of action, great colors. the grinding process is cool, weapon upgrades are so many, the way the weapons looked was awesome. The game just starts off with a bang right away, really enjoy it. But then I tried SW3. after 1 hour playtime, I just wanted to refound it. It isn't fun, it isn't good looking, it hasn't had any nice action packed tunes. it looks so cartoonish. No, that purchase was a real bummer.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered

TR IV and V remast. VI is NOT a remaster

I really enjoyed TR I - III Remastered. I have spent a lot of time with it so far, and are on the third game now. Have played trough both the first two remastered games. I have now bought the TR IV - VI Remastered too. Tried all the games a little bit so far. The forth and fifth game in the series looks like another two great remastered Tomb Raider games. BUT. There is at large dissapointment her too. The sixth game isn't really a remaster at all, the graphics looks just about as good, some text and symbols is a bit clearer but that's just about it.. BUT, the absoluttely biggest negative with the sixth game is that.. It's fps capped at it's original 60 fps! what is that? One of the most beatiful thing I liked with the five first remastered Tomb Raider games is that I am able to enjoy them at 4K resultion on a locked 120 fps/120 Hz experience. I don't think I will play the sixth "remaster" TR game because of this. The only reason that I gave this remaster four stars, is because the IV and V looks, and works just as good as the TR I - III remaster. But I have the feel that the sixth game doesn't belong here at all. At least it should be possible to run it at the monitor refreshrate. By the way. games tested, and plays great on Windows 7 64-bit in 2025!

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft

TR I - III remastered, a great remaster!

It has been really enjoyable to have the option to play TR I - III in 4K-120 fps with a Xbox controller on a large 4K-120 Hz OLED TV. It's like going back to play it on PS1 with a controller, just with upgraded graphics and 4 times the original framerate (which was only 30 fps at best). I play it on Windows 7 64-bit with an RTX 3090. Runs smooth, I see some people complain about the game controller in this game. Yes, it rough, and I can tell that the controller behavior isn't refined, or refined much from it's original. But. I don't mind it. For me, it tickles the nostalgia of exactly how it was in the 90's except for much better graphics that runs at 4 times the framerate, at 27 times more pixels of the original (640x480 vs. 3840 x 2160).

Shadow Warrior 2 Deluxe

A Serious Sam Lookalike game

Have played this for 100 hours now, finnished the story in both medium and Insanity difficulty now. The good thing about this "hidden gem" for me: - Graphics: very lively and super colorful and ful of lightning effects which is cool and suits a game like this - Cool intro, Start with a actionpumped tune right away. The negative: - Odd story, maybe a little to short? I would want it to last longer for this is just fun. - Charcaters having to much of the same faces in the same area. - Music is cool, but is super repetive with just another tone or version of the same tune all the time.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Gold Edition

Great graphics, but buggy. Mediocre

The game started of good with showing off some really good graphics details many places for an 2017 game. I also got hooked by the music in en title screen, but then it was over for that part pretty fast. I lost interesst in this game after just a couple of hours. I just didn't find it fun. I like that it has a more serious tone to it, like Far Cry 2 or 3. That's nice, and something I miss in the newest FC game. All enemies look about the same, very little variation and they look like plastic charcters. I was also getting stuck a few times so I had to restart from a previous checkpoint.. The best part is maybe the slow motion sniping kill cam that's a bit of fun for a few hours. Other than that. It isn't anything special.

Resident Evil Bundle

RE 1 - 3 bundle. Also works on Windows 7

Classic games. Grat that GOG did this port!! For those who wonder if the RE bundle will work on Windows 7, yes it does. The first time I started the games, there was some buggy movement in my case at first startup. The charcter was constantly moving forward while I didn't touch a key. It happened to all the games in the bundle, BUT. I exited the games, tried a second startup, and now everything was working like a charm. I don't know why this happened in the first place, but it isn't a big deal since it worked perfectly fine from the second startup. There is added controller support for every game! which I think is a must for games like RE. very nice! I use a Xbox 360 controller and for OS I use Windows 7 64-bit.
