Finally this gem is somewhere other than ebay! I have the disc and it still works just fine but I just HAD to have it from GOG. the game is amazing and if you know what you're doing you can make some amazing scenario's like my old "Rebel Escape" scenario's where 4 players were Rebels who could OP themselves with upgrades vs one player's entire Galactic Empire.
While I do not own this title on GOG(yet) I have plans on getting it, every game I have on disc and even Steam when it comes to GOG I buy it here. this game is, all I can say is amazing, that's it.
I just wish it's Multiplayer would work...
One of my most favorite "Caveman to Cosmos" type games, Empire Earth II has some amazing mechanics, but the simplicity of Empire Earth still has me coming back.
I admit, it was fun, but the morale system is so messed up. Indians are fearless(I understand due to the spirit of the Warrior) but if you send 200 men up against 200 men, if you lose but one man, everyone runs...
bought this game with some Sim Racer sometime ago, spent alot of time on this and loved uit, causing Alien Invasions, riots, and sending the national guard to deal with them.
First off, while I like the first, I love how moddable the second one is. I've made to many "real" mods with this and it's been made better, the AI aren't near as retarded as the first one(in the first one they all inevitable gang up on you) unless you play with allies on and locked teams, at least in this game DIplomacy is at least an option.
originally I had a downloaded copy of Imperial Glory(due to no one selling it) but when I saw it on GOG, I HAD to buy it, like all games I download I usually purchase them if a legitimate place sells it, anyway into Imperial Glory. I LOVE IT, that's all I can say about it, it was Napoleon Total War before Napoleon Total War.
