It's the whole point. It's not tolerable to have any kind of DRM on this store.
Man, I'd really want to love this game. But I can't. It looks like a grand adventure, it's clearly a work of love, but I can't just gloss over the controls. They're bad. Really bad. The character has inertia, and this completely ruin the experience. The game is hard and needs lots of precision (especially on bosses), you're doing precise jumps over spikes and things like that, and all that inertia becomes immensely frustrating. I wish they'd give us an option to turn it off. I'm sorry, but as it is, it's not good.
Got it for free, luckily. You can't rebind the keyboard and the key setup is reeeeally weird. I entered the options menu and couldn't find a key to go back (guess what? ESC didn't work) until I basically smashed all my keyboard. It was... left shift, for some bizarre reason. In game movements were weird, with Q set as left and D as right. Remember, you can't rebind them. I just can't play a game that doesn't let me rebind they keyboard to my likings.
