Hoping for an experience like Gangsters Organised Crime or its real time sequel Gangsters 2: Vendetta but updated to the 3D age from Ganglands sure didn't pan out. This game is a big step backwards from those that came before. Incredibly basic, dull and repetitive with limited gameplay and options. Everything is stripped out compared to the previously mentioned two games. You dive in hoping to see it unlock and develop and the game dangles this promise of something good in front of you as it slowly drip feeds you sup-par content at a glacial pace, making it feel like a chore you are doing in the hope of a reward after you finish. Eventually you realise there's no pot of gold at the end of this rainbow. You jump further on to see it for yourself and to be sure and then without the illusory carrot dangling in front of you to keep you playing you understand the best thing to do is to uninstall and then warn others from playing. This game is worth $1 at most. At most. Even then there's any number of ways of spending your time that would be better than this. It's not GOG.com's fault the game is terrible, but rather the developers. On top of the problems with bad game design there's also technical issues such as terrible and clunky controls when there's no excuse for it having been released late enough to learn from those before them and also frame rate and stability issues for many players when their specs are obviously vastly superior to the now ancient minimums for this. It'll play for most, but with issues. Issues that in this day and age are not excusable. There are better retro and better new games out there.
