Right off the bat when you start the game you are greeted with walls of text that explain the story(passable) and are supposed to explain the mechanics of the game(unforgivable). You wander around confused because the UI is made up from unrecognizable icons. The game's mechanics are a flawed copy of Magic the Gathering. You move around with a hero on the map and fight with monsters and other enemies. You can't choose a hero and all of them have special abilities that are totally random, one hero gets an ability that has a chance of playing a card for free every turn(awesome), other hero gets something completely useless like a CHANCE for your spell to work for a WHOLE turn longer. Changing and recharging cards is confusing. Some enemies have completely unbalanced abilities, like regeneration. Enemy regenerates all his creatures, every turn, as long as he has ether(mana) and after a few turns you can be sure that he will have a lot! Another balance issue is the fact that the defending creature needs to survive the attack to hit back the foe, thats a horrible idea that promotes to have lots of creatures with high attack stats. Graphics look dated and ugly, but the sounds are the worst. Every time you cast a spell your hero starts loudly speaking in gibberish, accompanied with obnoxious sound effects. After some time it's hard not to get irritated. The game in overall is a pitiful sight, I strongly recommend you pass on this one.

I like that there are tons of enemies on screen and they can blow up really nicely when you have the right weapon. The controls are easy to pick up. Graphics don't look insultingly bad and the music has its moments. What I don't like is that on later levels with maxed out stats, weapons and ammo, you still ran out of ammo anyway. That is, ammo for the good weapons. Starting weapons are only good for the weakest enemies and after some time you will be forced to take on a mass of strong enemies. What is also incredibly annoying is that the levels are very small and packed to the roof with enemies, no room to maneuver. Often there are spawning platforms that you need to blow up with dynamite or they will spawn monsters all the time. But it isn't that easy, you first need to find the dynamite on each level and get through a flood of aliens. The enemy AI, oh man, I have never seen such a shitty AI in my whole life! Seriously, you think that the AI in Painkiller and Serious Sam is bad? Take a look here. The enemies get stuck in walls constantly and sometimes shoot at the wall and kill themselves. Too stupid to live. I can't really recommend this game.
