I've pumped over 100 hours into this game and I loved it to bits. Right up until I'm at the point where I have to close chaos portals in the last dlc after the main story. The first few went totally fine but now every time I come near one the game crashes. I've done everything I could think of and nothing works. I've troubleshooted many many games successfully but this game is just broken. From the solid 5 stars I would've given this game it got eradicated to a 1 because it's maddening that I've played for so long only to be f'ed at the end by a gamebreaking bug.
I was having a blast playing this. There's so much to do and various ways to interact with the world. I sunk almost 20 hours into this until I got an out of memory crash. I had access violation errors before but they were sparse and random and had mostly been fixed. The out of memory crash however caused havoc to my world state save. I could no longer load into any of my saves or start a new game and I had to delete all my saves to be able to start a new game. That's right almost 20 hours down the drain because of this. This is a very serious gamebreaking bug and needs to be addressed swiftly before it affects others. I'm taking a break from this buggy mess for now and come back later when it's patched some more.
I couldn't even get this P.O.C to run. Running it normally, under compatibility settings, administrator all lead to a critical exception error. I tried all the different kinds of "fixes"/patches/mods that are said to fix this error yet I'm still where I began. In short: don't buy this game, it simply doesn't work.
