This game sadly is unfinished and full of annoying bugs. After the first big update it did't really start at all, it just showed a black screen and a fps counter. And then you have to delete certain files and uninstall and reinstall and create a new callsign in game, after a lot of trial and error and reading in the forums I was able to play a bit. Now there was the next big update and I started a completly new campaign to try the new options. While the tutorial still was running the game now decided to play a video without actually showing a video, just the sound, I saw a black screen with the loading circle in the top left corner. After the video? Jup, nothing happend, as expected, the game just shows the black screen and that is it. Like after the first update. It is a pity, because I backed the game and was really looking forward to play this. Meanwhile I play other stuff, maybe they will finally release a version of this game, that only has small bugs and is actually playable without you deleting files and uninstall and reinstall... This was the first time in my life I backed the development of a game. I thought nothing could go wrong with HBS after I played the three Shadowrun games of HBS, which all run fine with me. First and last time I backed a game.
If you liked the first Shadow Warrior from 2013, this is different. The Levels are bigger, there is wang more weapons and modifications for the weapons and yourself. The game is wang more RPGish (still a FPS, more like Borderlands), which leads to a game with more running from A to B, visting the same loacations again and again. The story is not always as present as in the first game, nor is the game packed with atmospere. Story still good. Wang, the one-liners, the fortune cookies, all still there. This is why there is still 5/5. It's different than the first part, still great.
