Vertical Drop Heroes HD

It makes a better browser game

This game is a port of an online game of the same name. It just stands alone on a PC this time, rather than having to make it work in a browser window. It isn't the worst I've seen, but that doesn't mean it's good. It fails to turn the stomach, but that doesn't make it nutritious. It's worth it to see once for a few levels, but there is very little substance to the experience. If you enjoy watching it played, you will likely enjoy actually playing it, but otherwise skip it. It isn't worth your time. Final Word: YouTube the gameplay.

Quke 3 Arena: rated E for Everyone

Don't be fooled by any pretense or any other description of this game. It is basically Quake 3, sans gibs. It's nice if you want the action and pace of the Quake 3 experience, but you also want your mom to be okay with you playing the shoot-em-up genres. The "deaths" are really nothing more than the baddies lying down and sleeping. If you want chunks of bloody flesh flying around after blasting them with energy, play Unreal Tournament. Z: The Game

Make your own judgements

This game is plain fun. You will make decisions. Sometimes they will be bad. You will spend hours attempting to find the right strategy for each map. learn from my fail. The only strategy that really works is to spam early and spam lots. You will spend the first frantic ten minutes establishing superiority and then combat will taper off. That's just the way the game plays. Whether or not it works on your system is something you will have to try. However, there are demos available and you can find one to try and see if it fits your style. Give it a shot, but don't hold your breath. Final Word: Demo first, Buy later

Zombie Shooter

Zombie Spam One

There isn't a whole lot to say about this game. It involves copious amounts of zombie juice making the floor rather slick, in either red or green color. The idea is stay away from the things that hurt you and hurt the other things before they can get close enough. Then, there is the boss battle at the end that doesn't allow you to make things go away with your weapons. You need to make them go away with bigger weapons that you can't actually handle yourself. The action is quick and fast yet doesn't let you rest, and it is completely satisfying. However, the game is completely experienced in one play-through. Not a bad drawback for a game this satisfying. Zombie Shooter 2

Zombie Spam Two

The game is aptly named; Zombie Shooter. You shoot zombies. You turn them into juice. You render them to goo. You have a bloody lot of fun. Quite bloodily. You can shoot them with pistols, with machine guns, with flamethrowers, with laser guns and plasma beams. You shoot them until they stop moving, and then more come up to be shot at. It is quite fun and worth it to play through at least once. If you want to play more than once, more power to you. There isn't much difference to the game the second time around, but it is quite nice to go through again and try different strategies. Mostly, the strategies devolve to keep your distance and shoot lots. Final Word: Once and Done
