The Surge 2

The Bloodborne of The Surge series

I will keep it short, and sweet. Think of what you played a bit before of The Surge. Which personally stands out as one of the most enjoyable takes on the Souls like games of recent. What I can say about it might not be true for all, and many could not jell with it, and that is fine. What this game does, and offer ALOT of weapons, armor pieces, and all sorts of secrets that expand on what Surge originally tried to do. Play stylists will be pleased with the game. As it blends speed, timing, and style all into the gore as a delightful mixture. The story in the game is workable, and does its job, but it is not the center of attention for this game, its the combat, the exploring, and the at times brutal enemies trying to rip your head off. If you loved how fast Bloodborne was on PS4, and know you aren't going to see it on PC at this point and time, but need that fix. This game is not as Gothicually beautiful as Bloodborne, but still hits it home with challenging bosses, and overall fun factor.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA

Works, plays great, alot of fun! No Bugs

Got a hold of this game being a big time fan of the franchise. I heard some horror stories about the game's status with some bugs, and performance problems. Receiving the game in to play. From the intro, the theme of the game (of the sea/oceanic) I was concerned about a few things. "well mobs be a bunch of jelly fish?" Nope, sure there are small chunks of that, but you get a great spread of all sorts of enemies to slam down. As well as tons of to do. Yes you do grind, but even that feels not as bad as it could be. Things, like upgrading takes maybe under a good hour tops to farm for, then its just the process of upgrading your weapons, and your armor. Skills or attacks level up per use as well. So if you find something you enjoy spamming go for it. Over time you unlock more skills. As well as your other characters whom follow you around. The game ties into a mixture of Ys 7 + Xenoblade. Without the cheesy British voice actors haha. If you wanted to get into Ys, start with this one afterwards. Go from 1-8. You will see a evolution of gameplay concepts. But overall its a game that keeps changing it self as gaming goes on. Sometimes for the better, in this installment, for a pretty solid placement.

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls

Great game

Challenging as heck, with its little issues here and there. But from that comes a diamond in the rough. Its what you want from a Wizardry game, it is not Wizardry 8, but its still pretty solid! Check it out!
