The game worked for me. Just wait a minute on the prepare for battle screen. I only gave two stars because I need to learn the buttons. Its confusing starting out. I will update my review after a bit but give the game a chance.
I really love oldschool FPS. I like the retro graghics, the witty one liners, all of it. This is a great nod to those old school FPS titles. Lo Wangs character is funny as ever. The gameplay is fast and furious but not nearly as difficult as the originals. Im only a few hours in and am really enjoying the game and think its well worth a shot. If your afraid of humor then don't play the game. These games were never politically correct and never should be.
I got this game through amazon games and am enjoying it so far. Its not perfect but it is very fun. The game does feel unfinished to some degree but if the developers do a few updates then this game could accomplish something great. Its a unique take for a FPS/Sandbox. You collect DNA to clone your crew while gathering the resources to sustain your crew. You get to build and plan out the build of your ship with some limited customizations. It takes some strategy on building your ship where everything is fairly close to each other. Small but crucial tip, make sure you have a good pinch point where you can better fight the infestation. The game doesnt have much of a story to it but gives you a randomly generated world with lots to do. If you aren't afaid to try something new then buy this game. Its probably best to buy on sale. I wouldnt spend more than $20 for the game at this point.
If you are lucky enough to get this version to work then you will have a great gem of a game. I would highly suggest to get the steam version because it will be more likely to work without issues. The game itself is amazing. It was a masterpiece for both RPG's and Star Wars. The story and gameplay are engaging and keeps you coming back for more. The lightsaber is earned and you have to collect all the pieces in order to have your first one built. This was a brilliant move by the developers because its almost a right of passage to fight with a light saber. The voice acting and graphics are decent. A working port would be well worth the money. Go buy it on steam.
Let me start by saying I am only a few levels in. I decided to purchase this because I like older games. They tend to have a better story and are more fun in my opinion. The game runs excellent on windows 10. On another review someone mentioned remapping the controls and I took that advice. Remapping was a bit of a pain because you have to map it out on the main menu. You are starting the level over and over again until you have the controls set up the way you like. The gameplay is great. It runs very smooth and the graghics are great for the time. The voice acting is decent and has a Storm Troopers feel to the game. If you arent afraid of low graghics I would highly suggest this game.
At the time of this review I havent finished the game yet. The graghics are good. The gameplay is a lot of fun. The storyline is ok. The voice acting is ok. I am enjoying Adam West character. As other reviewers have commented, there isnt much of a tutorial but its not hard to figure out the keys. If you do decide to purchase this game I would focus on headshots. It will take (for obvious reasons) less shots.
This game is brilliant! Great story full of twists and turns. the graghics are great, and the art style is perfect. I have only had one mildly agrivating thing with this game. There is a bug where the game will crash randomly. Its normally after playing for a couple hours but still sucks when it happens. The game is worth every penny and I would highly recommend it.
I have had this game in my library for some time. I decided to down load it and play it but I cant even get it to launch. I havent found a fix yet. Its too bad because the game looks fun.
The game starts with your party being thrown into a dungeon. Your goal is to get your party out of the dungeon. There are a lot of good things in this game along the way. You can create your own party. Make custom characters to fit your play style. There are some real challenges oing through this dungeon. The graphics and the atmosphere are great. There are multiple ways to solve some of the puzzles making the replay vallue a plus. I would higjhly recommend to anyone looking for a challenge and a good dungeon crawler. You will have to use strategy, hand eye coordination, and problem solving. I would also recommend this game if you are looking for something different. Give the game a try. Its well worth the money.
I have been going back and forth for a while about buying this game. I would have it on my wishlist for a while, then I would take it back off. Put it back on , and take it back off. I finally decided to give this game a chance. I was very happy with my purchase. I have only played on normal difficulty so far and have been challenged so far. I have only been able to make it to the 3rd dungeon. Like most FPS it is very repetitive. I would compare this game to the Pain Killer series, or Serious same. You go through different parts of a dungeon, find a "key" or a scroll to summon the boss. Then you go through a portal where you summond the boss. You have one life each play through. If you die, you lose all your upgrades, and start back at the first dungeon. You start off being able to chose between two characters, but are able to unlock characters as you complete other objectives (e.g. kill 40 skeletons and you unlock a character). You also over time will unlock other upgrades and perks throughout your time playing through the dungeons. The dungeons are different through each playthrough, so it gives a lot of replay value. Some rooms will have blessings or curses on you or the enemy, and sometimes affect both. Overall, this game actually has a lot to offer as a FPS and I would highly recommend. The magical weapons are a nice twist to your classic shooter.
