Neverwinter Nights Diamond

This is weird (Not the game itself)

I know this has nothing to do with the game, but it keeps bugging me no matter how much I try to forget about it. Recently I got an remotely old computer (for experiment), old enough to call is a piece of junk and tried a few games to see the limits of that old champ. Neverwinter Nights was sadly one of the many games that ran at a poor FPS, you could tell by the lag of the main menu. Then I tried "Warhammer 40,000 - Dawn of War", expansions included, and it ran just fine at a low-medium quality. Does that make any sense? Dawn of War not only looks better but it should demand more from the PC than Neverwinter Nights. Or maybe there's something wrong with the GoG version?

STAR WARS™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga

Old Times

I'm not that old, but I played this game for quite some time and I remember humming the Galactic Empire theme while I crushed the Naboo and "Rogue" Troopers. Now it's here, in GoG, and there's no way for me to pay for this. God is cruel.

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura

We ask too much

Let's face it, to this day, even if its an old game we want it to look... decent enough. That's why many don't like it. Also, it's too immersive and that's what bothers people who would rather kill stuff almost immediately after a short tutorial. And another "let's face it"... these kinds of games are demanding. They need you to read, to think, to make decisions that can "turn you off" because of how serious they are. In short, people these days like it with a long, well-made story and a thick combat system that gives them the freedom they want to feel. I'm no exception, but I loved this game more than most. I just hope I could play it again.

King of Dragon Pass

I really want it!

This and so many classics, like Master of Orion and Baldur's Gate 2, are what make the old days worth more than what comes out today.
