Dark Sun is an intrigueing setting. My experience with the game is setting it to the lowest difficulty and exploring at my liesure. While I have not finished the game I think fondly of what I have experienced. Though the gameplay lacks modern quality of life improvements, I feel it does a decent job of being faithful to the tabetop version of Dungeons & Dragons it is based on.
This game plays much different than the others in the Legacy of Kain series, though it does not feel out of place because of it. It has at least as much charm and lore as the others in the series.
Every time I emerge from the dark labyrinth it feels like taking a breath of fresh evening air.
