Amazing atmosphere and soundtrack, a lot of references to hammer horror and classic horror and intense action! No really, I've played Serious Sam, Doom, Half - Life 1 and 2, Painkiller but nothing has ever given me this degree of satisfaction from blasting hordes of enemies. Plus, Caleb is clinically fucking insane, it's great when he shouts lines in the spirit of "Die insects!". Must-play for anyone who wants oldschool action.
