I'll be honest here: I haven't played the game nor will likely I ever do so, because it's so EXTREMELY OBVIOUS to me just from looking at it that they weren't just "inspired by" 90s shooters, but LITERALLY ripping them off. I mean, just look at the bloody cover art! Compare that to the cover art of Wolfenstein 3D. It's the exact same picture! The ONLY difference is the goofy outfit of the enemy and what kind of gun the hero is holding. Hell, even the damn room layout is IDENTICAL to the one from Wolfenstein 3D! So yeah, no, that alone tells me that this game is doing literally NOTHING new, which I suppose is entirely on-brand for any game that seeks to ape 90s shooters. But come freakin' on... AT LEAST TRY TO BE LESS OBVIOUS ABOUT IT! Expecting people to pay money for a game that's THIS blatant about its knock-off status is just plain silly.
