This game puts all the elements together to tell a terrifying and enrapturing story all at the same time. An amazing classic and easily one of the best of all time. Now if only there was a System Shock 3.....
The Battle Isle games were never something I could get into as I was growing up and I've found the trip back there to be much as I remembered it. There is probably something there, strategy-wise, for someone dying for a turn-based strategy fix but it can be had elsewhere and better. The interface is archaic and the story hackneyed. Incubation on the other-hand is delightful. It offers turn-based squad level tactical strategy and for those with sufficient retinal fortitude, there is plenty of fun to be had. Between managing your equipment time, units and bayoneting the Scay'ger your quickly lose track of time. Again, Incubation is the whole reason to purchase this package; a gem that never got the attention it deserved at the time.
