Cyberpunk 2077

Really GREAT! Despite other reviews

On a 1-10 scale, not a 1-5, I would give this a Good Solid 9/10. This game does have flaws, but not has big or as many as the internet decided their should be. There has been no game in the last 17 years that has had a flawless launch with a LIVE service (meaning digital distribution, pushed patching, stable network; etc.). CP2077 did start off rough but there was no reason for people to slam it as hard as they did day 1 or even the first 72 hours. Why bash this game when you've had much worse released games that have had worse stability and crash history even up to a year or more after their release like Skyrim, Gothic 1-3, Morrowind; where it took community patches to give those stable playability (not patches from developers) yet they got many praises for being great? Makes no sense. I am running on a 7 year old PC I built myself. i7-4790K @ 4.0Ghz ASUS H97-Pro 16Gb RAM EVGA 980Ti FTW SC 6Gb Windows 7 Ult. I am fully aware Win7 was not fully supported and has limited DX12 supprt but damn, this game is beautiful. I dont have RTX and I dont need it. Visually its stunning and BREATHTAKING! The gameplay is quite fun. Story is great, im taking my time exploring, doing side missions and slowly with the story. About 40 hours of gameplay and im 10% in the story. The controls do need adjustment like the sensitivity on the doubletap to dodge/dash is too high and often you could find yourself cause some trouble doing that. This is much more stable with the 1.05 patch. If you are on the fence in purchasing just wait a few months. It is a great game, its not going anywhere despite all the BS negativity.

Great Classic comes back!

This is one of my favorite games from the PS2/Xbox era, yes it was on PC as well. I played it on all 3. This is likely the best "Red Dawn" video game you'll ever come across. The difference is for this stories plot is that Soviet Russia has taken over 80% of the world by force. The funny thing is you're a plumber, you are pretty much playing as Luigi since you start the story with you and your brother (who is kinda like Mario, fat and scruffy) on a plumbing job and your brother gets arrested. You need to save New York and fight the Big Red! The game is clearly dated. However it runs very smooth under the new update version for modern systems. A couple issues which im sure they can patch out. Pros - + High Resolutions and Widescreen!!! + Soundtrack + Still fun with cheesy dialogue Cons - - Graphics are still pretty bad lol, but its still good to look at (pro and con?) - This has overlay line issues on the Videos that games/roms running through emulators have when overlays or pixels need to be offset when used at specific or high resolutions. - Mouse Sensitivity needs to be fixed and separated from Menu Mouse Sensitivity. Currently adjusting Mouse sensitivity affects the menues greater than it does in game, so no matter what seems like your camera is really fast especially during aiming. 4.5/5 (cant take half a star away)

Dungeon Siege Collection

Hidden Gems of ARPG's of early 2000's

Based on this release, these titles are a bit more stable to run on newer OS's Win7 and up. Still needs a few ini tweaks to enable Widescreen Resolutions. Below is copied directly from my Steam Review on my Profile on how to do that. I will try to test manually installing the disc expansion on this release later to see if they work. They do on the Steam release with quite a bit of effort. The Steam release of both DS1 & DS2 breaks if you try to go over 1920x1080p; Some cases 1900x1200 may work. But the Games code starts glitching on anything above 1920x1080. DS1 - install the game (obviously) - Run the hardware checker and select your device driver (avoid selecting the TNL version if possible) - run the game once, best to make a save as well - quit - go to your Documents Folder and look for the Folder that says Dungeon Siege or Dungeon Siege LOA if you have the xpak. - Open the INI file there and add/edit these lines, save and make Read Only. ***Make sure your Driver Description is saying your video card type and does not include the TNL at the end driver_description = NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti - Hardware width = 1920 height = 1080 bpp = 32 Load up your game, and remember that when starting it will give a Video Resolution Error, just hit enter/ok and enjoy that crisper looking old school classic. DS2 Here is the Windows 7 Fix - 1. Right click DungeonSiege2.exe (in the root folder. ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dungeon Siege 2) 2. Click Properties 3. Click the Compatibility tab 4. Uncheck: Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 10 Fix - Just add into your DungeonSiege2.ini (or DungeonSiege2BrokenWorld.ini if you have that version): fullscreen=false width=#### height=####
