An isometric Elder Scroll mixed with Diablo, and then you'll get Divine Divnity. Classless system lets you develop your character anyway you want - and it always ends up being a battlemage. Freeze spell is overpowered, making everything a WHOLE LOT easier.
Pro: great story build up, really makes you want to know what will happen next. Really sucks you in. Cons: Ending are rushed, anti climatic and weird. I was like ಠ_ಠ. BUT THE STORY WAS MEMORABLE AND AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE.
Pros: Atmospheric music, cute and colorful 16-bit world, clever clever/silly jokes you'll find through the game, some extras after defeating the final boss. Cons: Collecting cards can be boring. The story is quite perplexing and need some creative interpretations. I won't put the story on the cons not until I can figure out what was the story about. Overall it's a good game.
Combat is much more fluent in this sequel with tons of combos that you can do. This sequel is brutal - the enemies will bleed when you decapitate them rather than just turn into sands. Listen to a metal beat that will get your blood pumping each time there's an enemy encounter. The Dahaka will hunt you for your soul and you will run. Find the truth behind the mysterious dark warrior. This game is truly a masterpiece.
The AI is broken. What's best in this game is Vin Diesel's golden voice.
