STAR WARS™ Shadows of the Empire™

Good game, terrible controls.

The game itself is still really fun, but the controls feel totally awful (Mouse/Keyboard and XBox 360-Controller). It's very imprecise, makes you think you're walking on an icy surface or something like that. I just played the 5th mission (Gall Spaceport) and permanently slipped into the abyss. Apart from that the game is still fun to play.

Sacred 2 Gold

Excellent game, though lots of bugs

In my opinion Sacred 2 is a great game. The gameplay is decent, the character system is nice and offers space to experiment. But what really makes the game stand out is its huge, open world. You can move in any direction freely and explore the world the way you want. And you will always find something useful or interesting. There are lots of towns and places scattered around, offering a tremendous amount of quests (around 600 in the main game, around 200 in the addon). What I also like very much is the graphic design. The game is, despite its age, still very nice to look at. It's beautifully designed with many details. In my opinion it looks way better than Diablo 3. And most important, the game manages to create that certain flow, that makes you wanting to play on and on. Not to forget that the game doesn't take itself too serious, so you'll have to smile from time to time (e.g. the inscriptions on the tombstones). Unfortunately the game still suffers from lots of bugs. On Windows 7 x64 it doesn't really run stable. I strongly recommend anyone, who wants to play this game, to install the community patch (latest version is 0140). It corrects many bugs an adds some new content as well.
