I once tried witcher 3 played it for 4 hours and hated it because of the combat and movment, gave it a second shot , today completed every single main quest with the dlcs, it was so worth, the characters , story and bossifght were much better in dlcs. This game does have many flaws but i am into the witcher world now. Waiting for witcher 4.
Played 120 hours of this game, story and characters is just so good, world is gorgeous, side quests are actually fun and not a checklist, the rpg mechanic is well implemented i did like 5 endings of the game, give this game a chance , it is a masterpeice. 10/10. Still some bugs here and there though.
This review is after 69 hours of playtime with main story completed not the plantom liberty. The gameplay is amazing there are different builds which changes your playstyle alot, story is excellent i actually cried in one of the ending, night city is gorgeous, there is no need to fast travel otherwise you may miss some random fun encounters. phantom liberty dlc is absoluty worth is gives new relic system, different cyberarms thing, a new story and a new area. One can spend countless hours and never get bored. Also enhance your experience using nexus mods via vortex mod manager. 10/10 game.
As of 2025, this game has not aged well, cover system shooting is boring, gunplay is bad, takedown has cutscenes animations idk why, story i cany say because i didnt finished it, gameplay is good though there are stealth, hacking or shooting options, however here shooting is a pain you will mostly die if you take that approach so consider guns useless basically.
TIme shift is good, freeze fire stomping abities are common these days, platforming is meh , worth one run.
its too short of a compaign and even then main missions feel like side missions with boring challenges, the way story is told is bad same as story itself, causing chaos is itself fun, should have been dlc to saints row 4
while the visuals are nice setting is boring, after having played bioshock 1 which i liked alot. i dislike this alot, you are limited to two guns, powers i got till now are meh, there is no horror or challenge, hacking is gone, idk if i will even complete the story.
game is alright i have completed it few years ago and started playing again now. however even to go through main story mission you need to alot of side activities to get enough chaos to start next main story mission which is a L. Also side missions are themselves very boring the escort ones. Also for those experiencing crash disable decals and bokeh filter in settings. overall just play jc 3 instead its much better gameplay wise.
I loved mafia 1 definitive its a masterpeice. the pacing in that game is brilliant , good mission structure and variety, here in mafia 2 its just diappointment, the story is avergae i liked 1 more, and the game is just driving one place to another whole time , 70 percent of game is driving, 20 percent is cutscenes and 10 percent is like real shooting. i am just so bored, its not a masterpeice that people claim... Kind of disappointed even after beating the game.
The amont of fun is insane. Thats the main purpose game serves and this game delivers it. its sad to see voilation disappear.
