The bulk of the game's content is locked unless you're online: mind you, that's single player content.
Let's move past the abhorrent, possibly illegal EULA (firewalled all game executables, good luck getting my data) and get into the game proper: it's XCOM, but with less content, less challenge, less strategic depth, and a pointless manual aim "minigame" that serves no purpose outside of wasting your time. There is no reason for anyone to play this game over XCOM, and there is no reason for the developers to care: they already got their money from the exclusivity deal with Epic, whether anyone actually buys (let alone plays) the game is irrelevant. This is the rare kind of game that convinces me to blacklist a developer and never touch anything they ever make.
