Wing Commander™ 1+2

This game is the one fore me. I was to young fore the first 1 and started withe game nr2. This game was ground breaking and changed my world back then. The story line is realy good fore the time period. Its one of only a handful of games i stil play. In my opinion nr 4 was the best of the series but if you havent playde this game before do it. But keep in mind that the game is 24 years old and this game is closer in age to pong than the modern games.

I remeber going to the 1990 Computer Expo with my father and uncle. Wing Commander 1 was announced game of the year. The following year Wing Commander 2 claimed it. To this day no other game has had such success without close contenders. This is definitely one for the collection.

I remember playing WC2 back when I was about 6 think. I didnt play WC1 until my teenage years . But for the longest time I never knew how to eject. I tried "E" i tried typing "Eject". When I found out how I was ejecting all the time just to ram my ship into another. This is a must buy for any gamer.

From the dialogue to the gameplay, this game started more trends than you might imagine. It's probably been decades since I played it last, but it still holds the same appeal. They did more than create a space simulator here; they created an entire world to give meaning to your missions. Each game is better than the last, but they all stay true to the original. Games have changed a lot over the years, so if you're in the mood for something sexy and intense, then stick with the newest games. But if you want to play a truly entertaining game and want to remember what the early days of computer gaming were like, then look no further. DEATH TO THE KILRATHI!
