Play as one of four iconic Warhammer factions (Astra Militarum, Space Marines, Orks or Necrons), each with their own unique playstyle and technology tree. Explore a randomly generated world filled with special features and threatening wildlife that can crush your troop's morale. Secure control of powerful ancient artefacts to grant you an edge against rival factions.
Construct cities, buildings and fortifications to expand your empire and produce an army to vanquish your foes. Harvest resources and research new technologies to fuel and upgrade your machinery of war.
Progress through a different storyline with each faction as their destiny on Gladius Prime, a world tainted by the warp, unfolds. In the end, when all the dust has settled, only one faction can emerge victorious.
Command a wide array of devastating weaponry, issue city edicts and deploy tactical operations. Recruit hero units that possess distinct special abilities and can be equipped with items, ranging from advanced grenades to mighty relics of the past. As they become more and more powerful with each rank, they turn into true champions of your cause.

big mistake :(
i will give 2 stars only because it is WH40k Interesting for WH40k Fans for first 5-6 hours, after it you will discover that basicaly all strategy you will have in this game is putting as many units as you can in line and attack. not require thinking with fighting tech tree is as simple as it can be, just take 2 upgs from each lvl and you unlock next one. i have finnished a game on medium map and have I will probably not play this never again.

Atrocious!
Just look at the DLC spam! THAT'S why this was given out free! To then throw the temptation of all those DLCs at you. The game itself is a low quality Civilizations clone - unfairly difficult with uber cheating AI to boot! And look at all the dumb stupid "Steam style" reviews! What the fig is going on with the sudden invasion of BULLSHIT reviews like "killerapplesauce", "beaulandry88" and "Choco110110"s reviews! The later is ANOTHER that has both just "fun" as the title and text. These are often just idiots with "1 review" to their name, and they're always 4 or 5 star jobs. Are they being paid to just spam these "good" reviews. GOG YOU NEED TO SERIOUSLY ADDRESS THIS LATEST PLAGUE UPON YOUR REVIEW PAGES!

40K 4X
Simply put this alot like civ 6 or 5 depending which one you prefer. But with lots more war and then more war and even more war set within grimdark goodness of the 40k universe. The devs are very active and patches are very regularly. Also new factions maybe coming in the not to distant future. Overall an enjoyable game good job devs.
