Welcome to the dark nightmare future of the 41st millennium, the grim era of the Imperium. The battlefield is spread across a thousand different worlds. Powerful armies of Space Marines, Imperial Guard, bestial Orks, and the T'au Empire are in constant conflict, unleashing carnage via mechanical war machines, crushing artillery, and vast starships.

Fire Warrior follows one day in the tumultuous life of a young T'au warrior who must battle alone against a force that shows no mercy: The Imperium. The T'au will soon learn there is a darker foe at hand and become entangled in a frightening story that leads them through an ongoing war.

  • High refresh rate support added. No more crashes or soft-locks when going above 60 Hz.
  • Controller support is now available through gamepad-to-keyboard+mouse mapping.
  • Fixed an issue where the game launcher wouldn’t start properly.
  • Graphics, audio, and gameplay settings have been optimized for a better out-of-the-box experience.
  • Cloud Saves are now supported. Your progress and settings are backed up automatically.
  • Stability validated.
1.50 GOG v2 changelog:
  • Fixed the game’s UI scaling at very high resolutions so everything now displays correctly on modern screens.

Makes your Windows spazz out

Not compatible with some windows 11 services, causes svhost DCOM to use 100% of your CPU until the game is uninstalled. May just be an issue on my end, but be VERY aware.

Never a Good Game

I mean... it was a game that 40k fans played because it was one of the very few games available at the time for that market, it was never good. It's fine a for a nostalgic chortle but it is a clunky and unsatisfying game regardless.
