Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate

Has anyone got this running on steam deck? I grabbed in cold blood and can't get that running. But I'd love to play this again.

Annoying. Just annoying. Everything hits you all the time and takes half your health each hit. You never hit anything and it takes sometimes 10 shots to down a single CSM. By the time this is done you need to reload and waste more time, by which point a cultist will appear and throw a grenade and insta bomb your marine. Not worth the money even for £2

Game is amazing (even if it's hard game) but you can't play on windows 10 and I don't know how to fix it. But still, if you love Warhammer, you have to play!

Many reviews are saying it doesn't work with windows 10 and it doesn't, off the bat. This is probably why windows 10 itself is not listed in the supported o/s. That being said, it can work if you follow these instructions on this youtube video. Reading the text description the user made on that video would also be helpful. If you follow this, you should be fine. I was. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbgp5kHheu8 This being said, Chaos Gate is a gem of a game, though the interface is a bit clunky as was the case in pretty much everything back then, the core gameplay is really good and I love the music. I'd give it a 5, but i'm docking a point from it for not working 'straight off the bat' on what is the most widely used o/s these days.
