There are very few and insignificant additions; and it constantly crashes.

Stay away
This patch brings even more bugs than the unpatched 2004 version. Here are the bugs I encountered: Items disappear all of a sudden Rats are still alive even after you eat them You can't see your health during combat All items in Skyline Apartments have been replaced with a vase Doors become transparent (even in tutorial level) Occasionally elevator buttons do not work Sometimes characters glitch out on dialogue screen Sometimes dialog option does not show at all (after the museum level for example) Just install the 602 MB version from moddb and stay away from this.

Didn't (couldn't?) even give it the time
AI Voiceacting threw me off, but the real issue is being instantly softlocked since bloodbuff was nerfed meaning i couldn't go though one of the first doors in the intro. I just decided to play the normal version after that.

NOT FREE
So, I have the original discs for this game, yet I can't add the "FREE" patch to my games WITHOUT buying ANOTHER copy SPECIFICALLY on GOG first. Hmmm. I don't think that is right. Huge mistake, GOG. I own other games on another platform that I can't download your "FREE" content without giving you money either. I guess I will have to look elsewhere. Also, apparently, I can't leave a review without a star rating. Sorry, but the rating system should allow zero ratings, or half stars at least. Another corporate misstep. Sigh. May be time to leave gaming behind.
