Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™

There is no better RPG game than this despite its technical flaws (which is the only "thing" about this game), but fortunately the fans made unofficial patches and took over the development and the VERY GOOD MOD released for this game, it has an EXTREMELY HIGH replay value despite being so short and small sandbox compared to today's standards. Any Role Playing and Vampire fan will just Love this game. There are no words enough to stress HOW GOOD this game is, you'll just have to try it and see for yourself, but make sure you install the latest unofficial patch before any mod and I'd Recommend the Clan Quest Mod, Camarilla Edition, Final Nights and Anti-Tribu MODS, ALL EXCELENT and add YET MORE replay Value each.

everything thats positive to say about VTMB is already said so i wont repeat it. its not THAT amazing of a game as others will make you believe tho. it has: >unsatifying endings to quests >extremely interesting characters who do literally nothing >walking for ages because they didnt put in any means of moving faster shallow themes that try to act as if they are deeper than they are but this this goes for most rpgs >one of the main playable clans, malkavians, whose defining feature is prophetic whispers has said whispers come with no subtitiles making them impossible to hear >one of the final bosses is literally so hard you should just cheat instead >final twist being kino doesnt change that the rest of the last quater is a wet fart >the main character is very stupid (is ironically a postive on repeat playthroughs) >leveling is mechanics are stupid ironically combat which is what most people moan about is fine and fun when you get stronger

The ending sucks. The ending is rushed and feels like a total different game. The game ends poorly and it is anticlimatic. But the rest is AMAZING. This is probably THE BEST rpg ever. It mixes the old school feeling of those Infinity Engine rpg, but with a FPS camera and Source engine. You really feel your choices and consequences of your actions. It is a masterpiece, buy it.

I remember playing this gaming when I was in high school and then replaying it throughout college. Even though this game was buggy and needed the fan-made patches, it was still a good game overall with rich storytelling, fascinating lore, intriguing characters, good dialogue, and challenging (in an enjoyable way) combat. What makes this game truly great is its replayability. There are so many ways to solve quests: you can be the muscle and fight your way through or be the charmer who talks your way out.
