Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™

Ok, where to begin... I hadn't ever heard of Vampire the Masquerade or World of Darkness before this game. I bought it on a whim before I deployed to Iraq in 2005. We didn't have much in the way of entertainment over there, but some ingenious soldiers threw up an ad-hoc lan network so people could play Halo and other console games in our dusty hovel infested with rats and scorpions. Even so, I would usually have a sizeable crowd of soldiers at my back watching me play. It is a very compelling game. Flawed in many ways but no other title can scratch the itch that Bloodlines satisfies. All clans are viable and fun but those Malkavians! So awesome! Get this game!

Originally when this game 1st came out it had afew bugs that could stop you from beating the game. But thanks to dedicated fans that's all taken care of. Almost all of the bugs are gone, cut content has been readded. Even some ease of use options have been added like being able to buy skill books multiple times. The atmosphere is involving even with it's age. The voice actiing is top notch. The only places where you might find issues are the combat. It could be more fluent, but again for it's age it can be overlooked. If you're into White Wolf or the supernatural, this game will world filled with lore and keep you up at night. A must play if you are looking at getting VTMB 2.

This is the best vampir game

I have problem with price here, what we actually get for our money as bonus, in comparision with other store, where game was for 4,5 EUR? 17 EUR for such old game is joke, more when you already own it. Its shame that game is still full of bugs and even gog version i afaik dont game has game code fixed.. I have problem with unofficial patches, i prefer vanilla game as state of something which authors wanted to express. Unofficial patch i my eyes changing too many aspects of this game. Otherwise is great game with a bit too much fighting and too much enemies, dialogs maybe in games ever, same as player characters variability and game replay value. Also game world lore is reused from one of best paper rpg settings.

The reason I havent bought it is because I still have the first copy of this game I ever bought. Waaaaay back in 2005 I bought this game on a whim because the chick on the front cover looked hot (Jeanette Voerman) and its the best purchase of my life. I have consistently played this game on and off for over 10 years now it is by far and a ways my favourite game of all time. I could go into detail as to why its so good but its better to be like me. Get this game on a whim, dont expect much and have your mind blown by its awesomeness.
