Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™

VTMB is simply the best vampire game to exist currently and one of the best RPG's made in terms of choice, atmosphere, soundtrack and replay value with the different clans you can select. UNOFFICIAL PATCH is a must for this game and is still being updated to this day which shows the incredible support this game still has. You can select from a variety of clans when creating your character with each clan being fleshed out (some more than others) each clan has it's strengths and weaknesses with npcs reacting differently based on what you pick. I recommend picking malkavian for the dialogue you get. The soundtrack and atmosphere of the game is fantastic and draws you into the world of darkness, you also get a decent amount of choice for an RPG which is fantastic and the characters are actually interesting to speak to. Despite being a mess of a game on release with the unofficial patch this is a must play for any RPG fan.

A tremendous, well-written RPG that explores territory seldom seen these days. It does suffer during the final third but overall it's a diamond in the rough that must be experienced.

What a gem! It's got all the 90's vampire goodness and some very spooky bits that will make your skin crawl! Outstanding rpg system, wonderful atmosphere, and satisfying combat. The story really shines and keeps you coming back. Tutorial at the beginning can feel rushed but it's over soon enough and then the world really comes to life. The once in a blue moon bug can easily be skirted by using the console (see the internet for detials, it's easy). It's a sweet game, enjoy!

Provided you use the community patch this RPG is a true classic. Bringing a proper VTM story to the PC unlike anything before or since has done (still awaiting a sequel almost 20 years later). If you heard about The Chinese Room's recently announced takeover of sequel or the drama behind the previous attempt and want to know what its all about - This is where you start. You play in the first person (or third) as a new kindred (vampire) dropped into the hidden bloodthirsty world of LA. This game is different from what you expect, less of a shoot/slash them up (but does have several segments of it) and more focused on the politics of various vampire groups vying for control of the city. There are a multitude of side quests, hidden secrets and reasons to replay and pick different choices (playing the Malakian bloodline is great for a second go) I would rate it 4.5 due to some weird animations and general source engine bugs that crop up, but over time they kind of make the game what it is (don't watch people or LeCroix walk). Pick this up when you see a deal.

Its enduring legacy transports players to a world where reality and fantasy blur, leaving an indelible mark on all who dare to venture into its dark embrace. From its enigmatic characters to its haunting soundtrack, Bloodlines offers an unparalleled journey through the shadows, inviting players to explore the depths of their own desires and fears within the dark and mysterious world of the undead.
