In Two Worlds II: Pirates of the Flying Fortress, a band of fame-hungry pirates led by the legendary Captain Ed Teal, have become trapped in a cursed archipelago when their ship ran aground, where they will be damned to remain forever until aided by a hero with a strong back(that’s you) and a (somewhat) loyal disposition. Trust, after all, is no short sale in these cursed islands, especially not for a man tasked with finding the Treasure - an immaterial wealth said to manifest the beholder's wildest dreams.
The war has come home! While the bloody battle between Gandohar’s troops and the armies of the Orcs is raging in front of the gates of Oswaroth, the emperor waits in the depths of his palace on the outcome of the struggle for power. However, he does not know that an elite troop of Orcs, led by Rogdor, is making its way through secret paths into the fortress and is now close to the portals of the throne room.Two Worlds II: Castle Defense gives you the opportunity to slip into the role of the Emperor Gandohar and his henchman Sordahon! БЕЗ DRM. Не требует интернет-подключения или активации.
I bought tw2 from GOG on the basis that it was DRM free and multiplayer capable. It isn't - at least in the first instance!
I was required to enter a serial key provided by GOG (DRM free???) but there's nowhere to enter it!
Support told me to enter it at the network screen - but there's no field available.
The game hasn't asked for the key anywhere - and I've reinstalled several times.
I bought this game legitimately but it looks like before I can play it I have to go looking for a crack. This shouldn't happen!
GOG you have really dropped the ball on this one! A DRM free game should NOT need a serial key or activation, and I feel that I've been the victim of false advertising.
You need to issue an IMMEDIATE patch to resolve these problems.
As to the game itself...since I have not yet played it I can't comment but I'm beginning to feel it was a waste of money.
This game has constant corrupted game saves. If you want to complete the game you have to cheat with god mode. the game will save and load a few times but after that it will constantly crash the game upon loading a game save. It has the same problem on steam. The game is not even worth being free. I have spoke with Gog about the issue and done everything they have said to do as far as reinstalling the game and even going above and beyond and trying it on different computers and making sure everything is installed correctly with 3 different operating systems. Windows 7 x64, W10x64, W11 x64. All of them produced the same result.
I'm not one to judge a game on it's graphics, voice acting, or story, If the game plays fine, I'm happy. But this game plays awfully. it's so buggy, clunky, and not very responsive. You mash the attack button, your character "Might" attack instantly, blocking sometimes works, and the UI loves to skip when scrolling through items. Sitting at my computer playing this game feels like doing chores.
Did this game ever recieve any bug fixes at all?!?
I was reading through some forums about this game, because I really didn't enjoy the first game.
People were complaining about really corny dialog and bad voice acting.
I really enjoy B-movies, so as I continued to read these complaints, I became more and more interested.
Then I found a particular response in this forum: "If Beast Master is your idea of epic cinema, then this is the game for you!"

Two Worlds II is like a romp through old B-Fantasy movies (think Sword & The Sorcerer, DeathStalker 2 & 4 [*not* 1 & 3...], The Barbarian Brothers, etc). When I first approached a particular city gate, a guard delivered a movie reference that made me burst out laughing.
If you like can watch a movie for the sheer sake of enjoyment, without being a Statler and Waldorf style movie critic, then do yourself a favor and play this game.
Two worlds 2 is a perfectly respectable rpg with my favourite parts of it being the pirate expansion, the (sometimes tedious) combat, and a nice large variety of ways to customize your character (with armor mind you). But this is not the reason that I write this review, oh no no my friend, I write to ask you to do one simple thing and that is to take a nice long look at the arms of all the character models. for some incomprehensible reason all the characters have these tiny doll hands that SHARPLY contrast the otherwise fairly buff character models. This may not seem like a big deal but once you see it you cant unsee it and every time you draw you weapon to fight you will see what appears to the Michelin man with chopsticks for forearms. And if your wondering if there is a mod to fix the arms then your out of luck. however if you do find a way PLEASE share so that we may be able to look past this bizzare obsticale to game immersion.
