Seriously appalling game dont buy it

Where to begin? The voice acting is bad and doesnt have the redeeming feature of being funny about it, it just sucks. The games plot is boring and doesnt draw you in at all. The graphics being cr*p is nothing to do with being dated... its simply cr*p. I am a lover of RPG games be it Baldurs Gate, Fallout or the Elder Scrolls series so to be disappointed so massively by a game of this genre says a lot! I bought this for the xbox360 a year ago from the 2nd hand shelves and returned it the same day. I suspect the high ratings doing so well is down to die hard fans rating up all the 5*s and down all the lower ones so if you dont believe me please go seek an independant review away from this site. I personally have been stung buying many lemons off this on the basis of the biased review system and hopefully can save a few from wasting their money with this review.

Well worth your time and money.

I am guessing that the people who give this game 1 or 2 stars are either outright trolls or they just had their girl friend or boy friend give them their walking papers and now they just hate everything. I would give this game 4 stars at any price and 5 stars for the dirt cheap sale price. If you have any interest in RPGs, in the immortal words of Mr. T, "I pity the fool that doesn't buy this game"

Замечательная игра для любителей RPG.

Захватывающая игра, в которую хочется возвращаться снова и снова. Придётся по вкусу всем любителяим классических RPG. Сочная, яркая графика и великолепная музыка создают соответствующую, неповторимую атмосферу а заглавный саунд заслуживает отдельного внимания. Переслушиваю его очень часто. :) Но, для того, чтобы быть объективным следует отметить что данной игре есть как плюсы так и минусы. Из плюсов следует отметить: (+) разнообразие оружия; (+) различные игровые навыки; (+) интересная сюжетная линия, хоть и короткая; (+) крафт оружия и брони, хоть и весьма примитивный; (+) большой открытый мир, который хочется исследовать от А до Я; (+) приятная взору графика, которая даже на сегодняшний день выглядит вполне достойно. Из минусов: (-) отсутствие баланса; (-) плохое управление лошадью; (-) ужасная анимация смерти мобов; (-) не все задания отображаются на карте. (-) слишком легко даже на максимальной сложности; (-) оптимизация. В больших городах сильно проседает FPS. В целом после прохождения игра оставила после себя тёплые чувства. Обязательно когда-нибудь перепройду её снова. Ставлю 8 наёмников из 10.

One of my favorite bad games

This is one of those slightly infamous games that was overhyped and underdelivered, slated to be the best RPG since Oblivion back in 2008. While I personally don't think it's quite as bad nowadays as people said it was back then, at least for the PC version, this title still isn't for everyone, as it still has major flaws. It has a good amount of odd glitches and bugs, though this version has far fewer compared to its initial release. The story isn't the most exciting, combat is simplistic, inventory and skill management is confusing to those who aren't familiar with classic-style RPGs, and even still is a pain in the ass for those who are, the character models look bizzare at times, and the dialogue is ridiculous and cheesy. That isn't to say this game doesn't have positives, as there's still some good ideas implemented. The environments are pretty decent, there's a lot of quests and dungeons to look at, the lore is pretty expansive, the voice acting is charmingly bad, the background music is nice, the magic system is pretty cool (if a bit overpowered), and it has a very neat mechanic where you can combine weapons or armor of the same type to upgrade it and make them better. While the negative aspects of the game will turn off most people, I like this game a lot because despite its pentiful flaws, it still has a charm to it that reminds me of other classic RPGs like Morrowind or the Gothic series. Its simple enough that you don't have to think too much about what you're doing, which is kinda relaxing in a way, but has osme neat tidbits here and there that keep me invested. Again, this really isn't to say that this game is particularly good, but it still has that odd charm to it that I like for some reason.

Its like a B-movie

This game is a load of fun once you put aside its downfalls. It feel like a b movie from top to bottom. from the hilariously bad voice acting, to the terrible cutscenes. that being said this games does get a few things so right that it makes up for it. the weapon upgrade system is the first thing that comes to mind in that regard. you can infinitely upgrade any weapon. All in all, if you like rpgs give this one a shot.
