Great to have this on GOG!

One of my favorite eroges from the past is back and better than ever! I don't know what the store page is talking about the issues, because none of them is to be found here. Perhaps this was true in the past, but not anymore? Anyway, the entire game is running on Ren'Py VN engine now and it's working perfectly. There's a lot of options in this version too, which are as follows: - Music Volume - Sound Volume - Enable/Disable SD Animations - Skip Text (All or Seen Only) - BGM (Modern or Classic) - Text Speed - Auto-Forward and Auto-Forward Speed - Display (640x400, 960x600, 1280x800, 1600x1000, 1920x1200, Fullscreen) - Enable/Disable Transitions - Language (English Modern Revised, Russian, English Classic TL95, Deutsch) - Take Screenshots (simply press the PrtSc key) Thanks for everyone for working on this release. I love that you put a lot of effort into this re-release and didn't just bring the same old 1995 release as-is. That being said, it would be nice if you could enable anti-aliasing for fullscreen, or you could keep the aspect-ratio on fullscreen. But that's nitpicking at this point. Now bring back Seasons of the Sakura, please! ;) If you're taking suggestions, I'd love to see Knights of Xentar (Dragon Knight III in Japan) being re-released, but with a proper English translation this time and not with the meme translation by MegaTech Software (if you do include it, have it as an extra). Thanks!

An old but good game

I got this game back when it was first translated to english and lost it since to time and various editions of windows and computer changes. But I still remember it. It is PLOT driven, the sex is there, and much of the point of the game, but not super explicite or hard-core IIRC. Basically nudes of the ladies, and text describing the action and feelings of the involved parties. I am purchasing it again on GOG. Although not safe for work or public, I personally wouldn't care if my family knows I am playing it, as it is only a little more extreme than those harlequin romance novels the ladies at church trade around, and from a male instead of female POV.

Classic little gem

I've played this back in '99 or something similar, and enjoyed it. The game is heavily inspired by Tokimeki Memorial - Densetsu no Ki no Shita de (Heartthrob Memorial), only this one is an eroge. Simply put, it's a visual novel with stats and activity management. Many events are triggered on specific times of day during specific days, while also depending on your stats. There are different endings, depending on which girl you chose (or, are able to chose, to be exact). The visuals are pretty good, and have aged rather nicely, form my standpoint. What stayed with me for a long time is the music; it's simply awesome. I've casually listened to many of the tracks over the years. The original game uses MIDI files for music. Nowadays, most people don't have MIDI capable hardware anymore, and thus MIDI synthesis is done entirely through software, using the MS GS Wavetable Synth. But at the end of the day, it's pretty rudimentary and reproduces a lower quality audio than a decent MIDI capable soundcard; and since the CPU handles all of this, in many cases, it introduces an element of lag (which plagues the initial release when played on modern systems). The current version of the game has been remade in RenPy and doesn't suffer from any lag when the music changes, as it doesn't use MIDIs anymore; though you can switch between a modern and a classic rendition in the options. They are both different from the original MIDI music, which is the one that I prefer, but the new versions are faithful and pretty good nonetheless. The story and the writing aren't particularity good, but overall, it's an enjoyable little gem.

Great grandfather of all dating sims

WOW! It's hard to believe GOG managed to bring this title from the ashes. I remember requesting it in some survey. Definitely one of the most memorable games from my childhood (yep, I know how it sounds... :P) with huge replayability potential. There are many choices to be made that influence the storyline and beside getting you laid also uncover events happening in the background. I still rememember that in one run I ended up chasing some kidnappers and relased girl from the car trunk. It was a big surprise for me back then. Art style of this game feels unique even among all other hentai games, everything just screams with 90's. If I had to choose between True Love and 90% of nowadays relased NSFW games I would choose True Love. It's simply better. Just keep in mind I'm not impartial because of huge dose of nostalgia feeling. :P

VN classic, good first entry

This game is an old but good VN, it falls in the dating sim category where you upgrade your character stats, smart, sport etc and chases after some girls, there is a lot of different heroines to go after, i recommend going blind first and later use a guide to see what could be done because a few options are a bit hidden, don't give up if you end up alone in your first run, the art and ost are really nice with a strong 90s aesthetics Strongly recommend it especially as a first experience with the genre.
