Tomb Raider: Legend

I got this game on GOG purely for nostalgia. I remember enjoying it back in the day on the PS2 and at sale price of under $2 it was an absolute no-brainer to get to play it after a couple of decades. Sadly I could not even complete the Japan level entirely owing to the atrocious auto camera which keeps moving all over the place as you move Lara. The only way to "fix" the camera is to hold down the aim button - but when you do that, Lara does not grab on to ledges or ropes. Ultimately the game became a battle between me and the camera - and the camera won. Game un-installed. (Giving a second star only for nostalgia.)

It's nice

Far away of Ratchet & Clank, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, God Of War, Killzone series, Tomb Raider games never dissapointed me. Dark Angel was not bad at all, but this game is quickly and ejoyable.

Error during the game....

First time playing in full a pre-Square Enix Tomb Raider in the year 2024. It's worth the $.97 I spent on it. Would not recommend. Exploration, puzzles, and platforming aren't engaging, couldn't care less about the story or characters, the combat is bad, and camera is awful at times and the controls don't feel precise. But it's exactly what I expected it to be hence the 3 out of 5.
