Amazing gem
Played it on console for free when it first came out. I love Pikmin games so this was a surprise. Very polished game. Extremely fun and smooth. Ended up buying it so that I can replay it later on.

Went in wanting Pikmin, its Pikmin paint
Its definitely a good 3d Platformer. Its charming and cute. But your little bug dudes? Dust mites? Without the Pikmin formula they just feel like a puzzle gate. Every level you start with either none of them or just a handful. You have to collect around 60-80% of them to hit certain threshholds. Thats all they are they're for. They are also invulnerable because of it so throw them everywhere to collect faster. For the 3d Platforming, the jump feels a little off since you start falling instantly. The levels don't hold up as well as other Collect-A-Thons in this genre. There is the cool perspective shift of how the bugs made a society using leftover household junk. Levels are large and you can traverse them very quickly! I'd rate it as 4 stars in this aspect. And 3.5 stars overall between both aspects if it would let me.

Like Pikman but more fun IMO
I liked nearly everything down to the concept of Pikmin, except the timer. I tried powering through despite that but the timer killed any fun I was having. Hesitantly I got Tinykin at the time on the Switch for dirt cheap and thought I'd give it a try. Goddamn was that a good decision. It has the best elements of Pikmin and no timer. Areas are huge with plenty to do and fun to be had. I obviously liked it so much that I bought it again now that I got rid of the junk Switch. Can't believe how fortunate I am that I caught it on sale let alone GOG has it. This game is phenomenal and can't wait to play it again.

Extremely good looking
The gameplay is good, and the level design is even better. The animations are pretty, the attention to detail is astounding, and the characters are very interesting
