Time Commando

if you're familar with the PS1 version, then the biggest differences is that they removed the narration for intro and outro cutscenes. Beyond that this and PS1 versions are nearly idenctial. I recomend for those with nostaliga goggles, but for any newcommers to this game it's rough and i'm sure you'll quit the game before the first couple of levels.

To the individual whose review included "So, you like punishingly hard games?" and "Where AI visibly cheats and avoids your punches and kicks with ease, while landing 2-3 hit combos on your face?".... you made me laugh more than I should've. I beat this game when I was like four years old, it's sad that you're old enough to write this review and yet somehow worse at gaming than a four-year-old in the year 2000. Guess they don't make kids like they used to. Too used to fortnite. This game is dope, the soundtrack is amazing. Game was FAR ahead of its time.

The idea, the time travel, fighting in different time of the history are all very entertaining and makes it a gem buuuut...OMG the controls are awwwwful!! It's very frustrating...

Talk about the ultimate linear game. This thing is on rails and I loved every minute of it back when it was released. The graphics were eye popping for the time and the beat-em-up style gameplay was very reminiscent of very old classics like Karateka. If any of you remember Karateka then you are showing your age like me.

Yes this game is old, the graphics are not very sharp and controls need some training, but... * unique style of pre-rendered backgrounds with models on top * nice setting of fighting through time periods * good mixture of melee and ranged combat If you are not repelled by old graphics, try this game.
