Still, the best game ever created!
Have been playing The Witcher on Steam for all these years, just decided to finnish them on Gog as well, to get all the achievements again & give my small amount of support again, to the worlds best developer and publisher, CDPR! #Warning! Fanboy imminent! Short Review: The Witcher 3 is STILL(After 4 years!) the best, most immersive game ever created. If you haven´t played it, you have missed out an essential part of gaming history. Longer Review: The game is mainly played out in Velen, a perfect location in my opinion, the environment is perfect in its bitter beuty. With death and downfall lurking in every corner. The level of detail is never before seen, walking around in these vast marsches, just taking in all impressions is astonishing. The game rely on well written characters to build a believable world with a deep lore and sence of complexity. There are a lot of good characters here, many of whom will help advance the storytelling and pacing of the game. The Sound; ., with detail and immersion The music, it´s just another level... the music fits soo well & always manages to do what it should: incites bravery when needed, or fear when that time comes or just boosting the already enormous immersion in the epic landscapes. Fetch and return, go and kill - quests? No. Here you´ll find that even the smallest of quests carry impact and effect on people. You can feel the suffering of these poor innocent people who are stuck between the wars of men and the terror of beasts from beyond the cunjunction... Combat, Gameplay; If you go for a higher difficulty, I would recommend the highest (once you are settled in the game). Then you Have to use the cunning mechanics designed to work with this great world. You have to use potion & a little research to take on the strongest enemies. As I said, in my opinion, this is STILL the best game ever created. If you don´t own it, buy it right now! The game that set a new standard for an entire industry!
