Ведьмак 2: Убийцы королей

The story may seem a bit complicated at first, and the beginning tutorial terrible, but it's only made that way because it will make you want to delve deeper into the story and figuring things out on your own. Very little hand-holding in fighting style, and how you intend to defeat bosses and such. Not completely open world, but definitely shouldn't be because the game is heavily story driven (even more than skyrim) and that would sort of take away from the plot. If you play this game, totally take your time to understand whats going on and do some side quests, (which help you level up and train to keep up with fighting in the main story). The third chapter was too short imo, and I wish they had made it longer, like chapter 2.

I don't have much to say about the details of this game that hasn't been posted on here already. The story is one of the best in this medium, the choices have real weight but don't bog you down with unnecessary meters or a worthless morality system (they feel very natural and true to who Geralt is, if that makes sense), the graphics are unbelievably rich, organic and beautiful, the audio is fantastic from top to bottom, and the gameplay is challenging and just plain fun (with some room for improvement). It's clear that a lot of love and effort went into this game. My only qualms with it are that the gamepad control scheme stinks and is difficult to remap (the 360 version is great, why not this one?), graphics/control options are only accessible in the launcher, and the combat, while still thoroughly enjoyable, isn't as precise as what a challenging game should have (which they're changing in the Witcher 3). I've owned this game since 2012 (the xbox 360 version first, later PC) and I've probably played through it at least 10 or 15 times, but I still find new details each time. Typically story-driven games don't have much replay value, but I think this one has loads of it. This game resonates with me in a way that very few do, and I'd recommend it to anyone. It's certainly not perfect, but it's one of the best games I've ever played and definitely one of my favorites.

This game is absolutely FANTASTIC!, after playing just the tutorial I knew the whole experience was going to be immersive and truly stunning. The combat does feel a little tacked on and I found it really difficult to survive an encounter with a large amount of enemies, but it is still satisfying to stick your sword into a bad guys chest. The characters are like real people, they are really realistic and the voice acting can be just a little too legit at times. The one thing that I REALLY enjoyed about the Witcher 2 was the ability to use your Witcher powers, from finding plants to seeking out enemies they all felt sort of natural. Thank you CD Projekt RED for making this masterpiece, I will surely look forward to everything else these guys release.

I love this game and enjoyed it immensely. It has a captivating story, imaginative quests and great aestetics. There were a few things I didn't like, mainly: * The user interface in inventory/journal/character/etc. Hard to navigate and operate, looks like a console interface. * Quick time events (e.g. in fist fights, it's just a farce, it's impossible to lose). * House looting - you'll spend hours looting people's houses. It's boring, because there's no challenge but you know you have to do it, otherwise you'll miss some ingredients and gold. * Missing proper item highlighting. * Conversations give you just an excerpt of your reply, you never know what the character is really going to say. * Too easy even on hard difficulty. I played both Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 on hard, in Witcher 1 it's a charade, in Witcher 2 it's better, but still I didn't need to use a single potion or spell in the entire game, swinging sword and dodging was enough. That's a pitty. Those were my major grieves. Nevertheless, I still extremely enjoyed the game and I recommend it to everyone.

Didn't knew about this game 2 years ago when some friends talked about it. So like a lot of people, I went to a torrent site and downloaded it, and what was my surprise... Honestly I can say that this is one, or the best game I ever played, no doubt. In every aspect, the story, the graphics the sounds the characters, everything. That's why when I finished it, I went right on Steam and bought the Witcher 1 and 2, to show the Developers some love and gratitude for having made a really entertaining and wonderful game. BTW I have already Pre-Order The Witcher 3, of course, and I'm still crying cause aren't no more Witcher games after this one... Great job CD Projekt RED thank you for letting me enjoy such an amazing game.
