Wish they made more like this...

This game is very nostalgic for me. Not only do I love The Wheel of Time Universe, but this game, as simple as it is, is very fun. If you like the Wheel of Time you'll find the story immersive. The graphics are great for its time. The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic. The mechanics of this game aren't the best. Enemy AI could be better and the defense levels leave much to be desired. But no other game to date lets you weild the One Power as an Aes Sedai and that alone is worth something!

I'm a Wheel of Time fan, not a FPS fan

As the title says, I bought this because I'm a WoT fan, not a FPS fan. I probably shouldn't even review it, but decided I would in case anyone else is in the same situation. I quickly grew bored with the game, but decided to muddle through it using cheat codes so I could see the story. Unfortunately, the cutscenes wouldn't play for me. I suppose I could have puzzled out a fix to allow them to work in-game, but instead I just opened up the Movies folder in the game directory and watched them all. They total about an hour and are like a watching a WoT cartoon, with all the inherent overacting in that genre (lots of villainous laughing). For the heavily discounted price I got this for, I was satisfied. But if you're looking for a good FPS game, my opinion is irrelevant and you should ignore this review.

Loving this game

I read the entire Wheel of Time series and when i saw this game based on the setting I knew I had to check it out. Its been a lot of fun so far. A lot of puzzles and decent combat even. There are so many different ter'angrael which give you diffiernt spells to choose from. The graphics are a little dated but its so worth it if you are a fan of the books! Highly recommend

just here to say thanks gog - it's as good as i remembered and if you're a player and you have read robert jordans books - it's a pretty good old game reflecting the world and the atmosphere in it

Awesome

Played this game to death! Single player was very good but when this game came out there was nothing like it online. If you can find players online still check it out. [SoL]DarkStar / SOuLfly
