You four - a warrior, a magician, a priest and a paladin - you tiny band of four must somehow vanquish the evil Uukrul. For he and his depraved followers hold the once-lovely city of Eriosthé in dark dominion. And until he is destroyed, the entire land lies helplessly at his mercy.
More than merely vicious, Uukrul is literally heartless. To free his body from the material plane, he has actually detached his soul - and hidden his heart deep in the mountain city's maze-like passages. But where is his heart, and how is it protected? What are the heart-shaped keys that lie hidden in the far reaches of Eriosthé?
And how can you defeat him when you at last capture his dark heart?
In your quest, you'll be armed with magic, prayers, spells and weapons... but you'll need courage and quick wits as well. For you'll be challenged at every step of the way by baffling puzzles and packs of savage monsters... until finally you must face Uukrul himself!

Awfull and Annoying!
I didn´t play the game 30y ago and just played it recently when it was released here. I now totally understand why this game has sold so badly in the past. 1. Party If you are interested in an crpg because you like to create and develop your own party and see how this party of yours is handling the challenges the game offers than look elsewhere. This game is the worse in this regard! Fully preset group. You have only some influence on the starting attributes (Int, Str, Dex, ...) via a Q/A system but unfortunetly this attributes have next to no effect in the game. It´s all class and especially level based. Moreover the leveling up is automated but the worst part is that you can´t even freely equipt your hero´s. The items are soft-/hardlocked based on the hero´s level. This level requirements are very high. So no benefit of playing economical or adventurous. you can´t use this kris of resting or killerblade early on! 2. Balancing The two fighters barely hit anything and if they often do only minor damage if there level isn´t much higher compared to the enemy level. They are next to useless. The priest isn´t much better. His prayers rarely work and if so the target is choosen by the gods but the prayers can also backfire inflicting major damage to the priest. He gets a bit better later on. The mage on the otherside is totally overpowered. His spells can´t fail but inflict major unavoidable screenwide damage. He is also able to cast a large variety of other spells like healing beside of that he´s also a deadly melee fighter. Also Items like weapons and armor sadly have barely any effect in the game. 3. Annoying stuff enemys can drain exp, destroy/steal your stuff. weapons will break very often. magic weapons can´t be repaired compass isn´t part of the UI map doesn´t show the direction the group is facing and is also very fragmented annoying, arduous, cryptic, trial and error puzzles/dungeon layouts Cumbersome load/save system I wouldn´t buy this game if I were you!
