Beautiful experience.
There are games that I love so much I buy them twice. This is one of them. It is beautiful and the story will hit you right in the feels. You make choices and you face consequences. Sometimes very harsh ones. You meet people and you get close to them. And then you get to weight those bonds against the responsibilities you have. And decide what is more important.

A fun Viking saga.
This is a very fun game that has an interesting lore. The characters are diverse and fun to play as. But by far the best thing about this game is the beautiful drawn art. the orchestra music also help give the game more life. But this game is far from perfect as their are some things that this game is lacking in. This game could have really benefited from more voice actors as I feel all the dialogue should have been voiced. Theirs no point in having a lot of Clansmen as all they do is drain resources and only affect a few events. The game does not give you the ability to travel anywhere that you want as the game is very linear. But even with these flaws the game is still enjoyable and I hope most of these issues will be fixed in the sequel.

Linear but full of surprises.
Game is based on battle and dialog decisions, It's not open world, although on the map we can see plenty on information of history and mithology of the world, our impact on where can we move is limitted. But story and graphics make you forgive that just to enjoy the deep dive into this mix of fantasy norse and celtic realm. I have to admit that for the sake of saves it was a little bit annoying to see animations each time, but this has built pretty much intense feeling of stagnacy(inside the story). So each of my decisions were hard to take and be warned as you may encounter the 5 steps of grieve. I felt a little bit dissapointed on the ending because completition of game is not an ending of the story, but just some chapters. Yet still I'd love to know how it concludes and hope at least some of choices may be imported into next parts of the saga.
