A must have for your GOG Library

I have 530 hours on steam and came here to get the DRM-free version. Terraria is just one of those games that needs to be in your library, no matter what style or genre of game you like. At times it can be very relaxing, whereas other times it is very unforgiving. The graphics are very nice and fluid for a game made of pixels, and you can tell that Terraria has a style that is unlike anything else. It has a very alluring soundtrack to go along with it aswell, which always fits with where and what you are doing. You will be spending countless hours on this game; it's really hard to put down. Not to mention, every play through is different. Be prepared to look through the terraria wikia as getting stuck is easy for a new player, but it is really easy to catch on to the mechanics and flow of the game.

A must have for 2D games

10/10 My favorite game. I love the music with the art style that goes along with it. The combat is my favorite part with decently diverse enemy A.I and weapon types. There isn't much I would change about the game in terms of content other then to add more. There is plenty of content and 1.4 is the last update so it's time to see what re-logic has in store next. This being their first game, I think they did a really good job with it. I recommend this game to anyone looking for a fantastic 2D sandbox game for only 10$. There is hours upon hours of content to mess around with like killing the many bosses, building with the hundreds of blocks and furniture items there are, mining, and exploring the large world with plenty of biomes. There is different difficulties, weapons types, and play styles for heavy replay value. Also there is a decently large modding community to revamp every aspect of the game or even add an extra late game.

Buy this

Its just so much more than 2d minecraft. Therse tons of weapons and none of them feel to good or bad except pearlwood gear. The bosses are all really well made. Wonderfull game.

My favorite game off all time.

Terraria has been my favorite game ever since I was a child, it is a truly magical game with endless worlds to explore. As someone who has played Terraria from start to finish and seen it all I can promise you that Terraria offers endless possibilities and boundless fun to all willing to delve into this marvelous game. The music and art make in Terraria make it a truly unique and engaging experiance. Nothing I have to say about the gameplay can do it justice, but please look further into this game!

In 12 hours of gameplay I “destroyed” a little over 10.000 tiles, built myself a nice house where three NPCs live, but only saw a small part of what the game has to offer. You can generate new worlds and port your character between them. You have a perma-death mode for your character, if that’s what you’re into. From what I experienced, the game is pretty relaxed, and I enjoyed playing it while listening to podcasts or watching, actually mostly listening, to something else on a second monitor. Pros: you can make lots and lots of items in a world that has a pretty artwork. Cons: you don’t know what you can build unless you already have all the materials for it.
