Good FPS

I really didn't know what to expect coming into this, but I know what I got. Terminator: Resistance is a solid FPS made the way they used to make FPS. You can also have intercouse with the females in the game and your decisions will affect the NPC's. Apart from the intercouse, which I honestly don't get in a video game, Terminator: Resistance is good fun. Not that the intercouse part is not fun, it's just weird. You get better weapons as you progress and there is a sneak element to the game also. The story is what you would except in an early 2000's FPS and it fits perfectly. It's a good game.

Best game adaptation

fantastic tile. I have grow up with T1/T2,this is by far the best adaptation I ever play.

Futuristic yet so retro

I've finished the game on hard and it's a fun but rather standard shooter on semi-open maps - the game adheres closely to the lore and asthetics of the first two Terminator movies so the focus is on survival and blasting the machines with your phased plasma weapons, which you get your hands on after starting off with regular firearms for the first few levels. For fans of the movies, TR is a great experience and it definitely manages to mimic the vibe of the movie scenes where humanity's grim future is displayed: we're talking burned out houses, car wrecks and of course the chilling apperance of the eponymous Terminators. While the overall story arch doesn't need much explaining, it definitely feels in line with the tone of the movies (and especially the first one). The game feels retro in more ways than one, not only because of a certain jank or the AA quality visuals but also because of stiff dialogue and even stiffer facial animations, combined with some rather, shall we say dated portrayals of women. Even on higher difficulty setting, the game rarely becomes challenging and despite their being some enemy variety, all of them can essentially be fought the same way so besides a few sneak em'up missions you can attack head on and will seldomly feel outgunned. While the above paragraph might not sound too appealing, I definitely recommend TR, it's a solid shooter and well worth a purchase.

with a little nostalgia

Yes the Graphic is dated, Yes the Game Mechanics too Yes it's short, but if you know the first two Terminator Movies and love them, it makes fun to play trough. because of the Atmosphere, the original Sounds, the Story, the dark future setting from the 80, even the little cringy lovescenes. they make the story a little more immersive, and even adult in my personal opinion the Studio has done a good job!

The best Terminator game ever

Terminator games have indeed been hit and miss even on pc the less said about T3 pc version the better the only Terminator game that comes close to this is the mega/sega CD version. This has story geuin muti endings and amazing game play. Also the sound track is amazing. What can i say if this had been a film as well as game we have amazing Terminator story. The game play is intese and put you on edge the AI really can act and think for example if you hide in room and lock the door then a Terminator will simply break the door in and hunt for you. If dosent have weapon then no problem it just use it bare hands crazy I known. Okay some say it geric shooter ect but if you love Terminator (I grown up with it since childhood) then you love this game amazing.
