This is a good game.
I like the take on the Arthur legend. I love how they built Avalon to look. Big 'ol epic ruins and plenty of nooks and crannies to explore and find little things in. The combat and casting is fun, but I do wish spells were there own thing instead of another type of equipped weapon. Personal taste says the look for Arthur was a bit cheezy, but also kinda cool. Came across one NPC, thought he was bugged. I even saved, reloaded the game, then restarted when that didn't work. He was not bugged. You got me, you cheeky druids. EDIT: Oh my god, how is this game so stupid and so fun at the same time?!? Wyrddeer that never spawn, voice acting that bounces between Hercules the Legendary Journeys campy, cringe AF and on to downright great. NPCs that are dumber than a damp cardboard box filled with dead hermit crabs in a fight (and I'm not talking about the undead which by rights should be dumb as hell. On account of.....nvm. Y'all get it). Missing graphics in journal entries...there are so many little things that make it feel like I'm playing an early 2000s game instead of one made in 2025. But it's also so damn fun! I kinda hate that I enjoy this game as much as I do. Here's to hoping the devs keep putting the 'ol Spit and Polish on this one. Because it can only get better if they do.
