GREAT GAME w/ GREAT ADDITIONS
I played the original and it was fun. But with the additions GOG did, makes it a better game. Great game, a good one to start off a series, and this is a VERY underrated game. A game (this game and SS2) that needs to be remade or just give it an HD polish, and nothing gets changed; and make it a PC only game. Take that console exclusives.

it was ok for it's time
it is really hard to give this game an honest review after having played System Shock2(an awesome game) because it's sequel is better in every aspect. i find the controls here clunky and the game pace too slow. i remember being more forgiving of it's flaws back in the day when first playing it but after you play a gem like System Shock2 it's really hard to go back and enjoy this one. you might like it? i would wait until GOG has one of it's sales and pick it up if it's less than a dollar or so, that way if you don't like the game then you are only out less than a buck or so.

Unplayable controls
The most important thing to enhance wasn't the graphics; it was the controls...and this is a horrible mess. Very disappointed.

One of the most anticipated game of all time on GOG is finally here! A foundation for many games including Deus Ex and BioShock. If you don't have it in your GOG library... SHAME ON YOU! ;)

Classic But Aged
System Shock EE is the definitive way to experience this classic, but it is still a relic of its time. Boxed corridors, simplistic enemies, and a terrible cyberspace minigame make this a slog to get through. All that said, I think it is worth playing for the historical record.
